9 days late

Hi.

I came off the pill end of July and had my first proper period on the 26th of September lasting about 5 to 6 days. I was projected due af the 24th of October according to this app.

The last time I had sex was 2 weeks after I was supposed to be fertile and this Sunday, af is now 9 days late today. I did 4 pregnancy tests this week including today and all bfn.
I am so confused and hate being stuck in limbo, I used to be fairly regular so not used to this, any advice?

Hi @NotMyselfWithoutCoffee - sorry to say but it's highly likely that you're not regular yet. It takes most women at least 4 cycles until they are back to being somewhat regular after coming off the pill. That's also why many like to use opk to determine the fertile week as apps most probably calculate with a wrong base.
But as a rule of thumb, if you dtd correctly, as in it lead to conception, you can test 14 days after that. Good luck to you!

Ah thank you, a bit gutted to hear that. :(

I was hoping to be regular asap so I wouldn't have poas syndrome everytime my period doesn't turn up, it sucks not knowing.

Your probably just not regular after coming off the pill

@NotMyselfWithoutCoffee sorry! But that doesn't mean you can't get pregnant, it's just unreliable to calculate with an app to find the fertile week, that's all. There are some "coming off the pill" threads in this forum that are quite active, maybe you want to join one of them?

Yeah I will take a look maybe there are others in a similar situation.

Last time I came off the pill I got pregnant 3 months later but my period never turned up! Hopefully I get lucky this time as well.
