Just hoping someone can help. So i am on day 16 of my cycle. I have been testing since day 11 and always had lows or highs. Yesterday 1/11/21 i got my first peak at 10 then at 6pm i got a high. I have just took another test at 2oclock & it is back to peak. My temp took a slight dip yesterday..Thanks

Hi, what is your question?

Depending on what time of day you test/how concentrated your urine is you may get slightly higher/lower readings, this is normal.
Some people have a quick peak, some have a couple of days, it varies. It might help you having a look at this article which explains it better: premom.com/blogs/how-to-use-ovulation-tests/surges-and-peaks-gradual-onset

@Danani sorry I didn't make it very clear. Just want to know if it's normal to have peak for over 24 hours?

@Happy2189

Yes it is definitely normal to have a peak for over 24 hours, but it makes it much harder to predict when you will ovulate (without ultrasound).

The best thing to do is DTD every day during the peak and the first day of your negative.

@Iszzy thanks for your reply. I have now had 3 days of peak so confusing so have just used the last day as the day I ovulated. Didn't manage to DTD yesterday which is my last day of peak but did 2 days before and 2 days before that. I had really pain ovulation pain 2 days ago then yesterday had cramp which I don't normally get until period. By last night it was down to low so hoping its worked :) x

Just remember even if you time things perfectly, it still doesn't guarentee it will fertilise and stick..... your body has lots of internal quality control systems.
