Forever been a lurker on forums like this but never thought of asking for advice until now..
Has anyone ever had ovulation bleeding before? But bleeding, not spotting?
We have been TTC for 6 months now and I’ve had a couple of progesterone tests due to brown light spotting from around 5dpo up until my period. The first came back at around 20nmol, so I redid the test the following month which came back right in the middle of where they should be at 44nmol. I’ve also had my TSH, full
blood count and vitamin levels checked to which the doctor said “all looked reassuringly normal”. I also had swabs taken (due to the bleeding I mention below) which all came back clear. My other half is booked in for a semen analysis next week 🤞🏼
Last month at around 1dpo when I wiped it was like I was on a period. I put in a liner just incase, yet when I checked an hour or so later there was the smallest amount on the pad and I had stopped bleeding. The same thing happened on around 5dpo and then 7dpo. Both for a short amount of time, resulting in a BFN.
However this cycle the same thing has happened again - I got a positive OPK late Saturday evening and all of yesterday, then my temp rose this morning confirming ovulation for yesterday. So making me 1dpo, I went to the toilet at around 11am and the same thing had happened - I had bleeding. I’ve had a liner in all day, and the bleeding had almost cleared up now, and if there is anything it’s just brown. This morning it was red mixed with a lot of CM.
Sorry for such a long post! I’m just wondering if anyone has ever had anything similar before? And if so have you been able to conceive?
Also - I don’t actually know whether my bleeding is ovulation related, I’m just assuming it is as it’s happened during the TWW and no other time!
