Positive ovulation test but no cervical mucus

I usually have cervical mucus at around ovulation. This cycle I haven't had any. I had peak ovulation test yesterday, so I assume I ovulated today. This is my first month trying bbt, so will see if bbt confirms ovulation. Assuming ovulation happened, how bad is it that I didn't notice any cm? Does it mean my chances this month are very very low?

Just to clarify, my understanding is that cm helps sperm to get to its destination, so I am not questioning if no cm means no ovulation, I guess my question is if it affects the rest of the process?

Yes, it can have an impact. The CM environment keeps the sperm alive and aids the journey. You can buy something called Preseed/Conceive Plus. These are products are kind of like a lube that mimics cervical mucus. Google the reviews. They're meant to be quite good. X

I didn't have any of the "egg white" CM the month I got pregnant so I don't think it's required OP! It was the only month I didn't get any either

I never have egg white cervical mucus and I'm on pregnancy number 10. I didn't even seem to have a notable temp rise this month and I just got a positive pregnancy test. Saying that, I did use preseed . Wishing you the best of luck!

I never had a positive ovulation test, and often no/very little EWCM...I got pregnant in no time at all, so fingers crossed for you
