Low bbt in luteal phase

Hi everyone! FF confirmed ovulation on CD 25, but the last three days my bbt has been very low (and confirmed ovulation day disappeared from my chart), has anyone else experienced this? I guess I might not have ovulated yet, but there is no explaination to the three days of high temp either. I slept normally and was not sick.. I’m getting a bit worried something could be wrong :(

I don't think there would be anything wrong, it could be as minor as you fighting off a bug in the background (or did you get drunk by any chance?).

Do note that all your triangles show that you've been taking your temperature at odd times and if taken later that will falsely elevate your temp.

Thanks for your input Juno! My bbt is pretty much back up there today at 36,52, so I’m hoping for consistent high temps in the next few days.

I’m aware of me taking my temperature at odd times, my working hours requires me to get up at different times each day and as I love to sleep in, it would be such a bummer to set my alarm early just to take my temperature. I’m willing to compromise a bit on the accuracy of my chart because of that :)

@reflected might be worth giving a bbt adjuster a shot on any days where you think it might be critical to discerning a pattern shift!

Are you using opks as well? Might be worth it in order to get the heads up you need if your cycle is long and it's hard to time sex accordingly

@Juno231 I had to google bbt adjuster, but I’ll definitely give that a go and see how it affects my pattern. Thanks for the tip!

My cycle is long indeed, usually around 40 days and it’s also somewhat irregular. I used clear blue advanced this cycle and I got flashing smilies from CD16 to CD25, then I stopped testing since my temp was high on CD26. I just assumed the test didn’t pick up my LH surge. I’ve also tried cheaper opks in previous cycles but I never got a positive one.

I’m still on the same cycle, on CD49 today.. No sign of AF, had a negative pregnancy test on monday (CD47) but I took it in the evening and my urine was very pale yellow so could have been too diluted.. I’m not sure what day I actually ovulated though? I’m using natural cycles also and it says I ovulated on CD25, however I feel CD30 or even CD34 is more likely. Any advice or thoughts would be really appreciated!
