6DPO - White spots on nipples

Hiya, I'm 6dpo and this evening I had mild cramps in my lower back, and my boobs have got progressively more sore. Feels like AF sort of sore but wouldn't usually get it this early.

Anyway, my partner looked at my boobs tonight and asked what the white spots on my nipples were. I can't really be sure whether they are always there or not - DP says they're new, I'm not convinced. Google says breastfeeding (blocked milk ducts) which I'm not, pregnancy, or cancer Confused Any experience of this?!

Good luck to all in the 2ww, feel free to share your potential symptoms too...

Do you mean on your nipples or on your areola? If its your areola then it's your Montgomery glands

RunningOnHope · 30/10/2021 06:39

No, nipples themselves, not the Montgomery glands.

Are they like pimples or blackheads? do they feel like they can be popped?

RunningOnHope · 30/10/2021 21:06

No neither of those... Wish I could show a picture but obvs can't do that Grin

more like a little raised bump, that might be there anyway, but now white. A further Google suggest Montgomery glands can be on nipple as well as areola, so maybe it is that after all...
