BFP at 14DPO!

Hey ladies,

I am literally sitting here in shock. Got my BFP today after 6 months of agony (Had a miscarriage in April)

I tested on Monday at 10DPO but nothing so I was not expecting this. The reason I tested again today is because I’ve had a rotten cold plus not very sore boobs which I usually get before AF.

I’ve attached the pic (had to try 3 different tests for me to actually believe it!) I’ve just turned 35 and this will be my 3rd pregnancy - already have a DD but second one was a loss

@newtolineofduty omg really? No sorry 10DPO was negative but these were at 14DPO. Are they strong for 14DP0??

It's my second pregnancy and totally different to last time! I'm so much more poorly this time! The fatigue and nausea is unrelenting! My sense of smell is through the roof! I'm hungry all the time! And I'm sooooo bloated! I've felt awful since a few days before my test and it's getting worse and worse very quickly argh! Ordered some of those wrist bands which have helped slightly! I take comfort In the symptoms though as it shows baby is doing its thing! How are you feeling? X

@newtolineofduty Sorry to hear that. Yes I remember the first few weeks very well - the sickness, sore boobs, constant peeing, the emotions! You’re doing really well, hang in there.

I just have a horrid cold which actually prompted me to test because I’ve read this can be a very early pregnancy sign! I am also a bit worried about handling this pregnancy with my 2 year old DD who has got so much harder with the tantrums! Feel drained already

Yes that's what I'm really struggling with @buttongalore! No naps after work or lie ins this time! Xxx

I'm also worried about the lack of lie ins or naps with a 4 year old this time round 😬😂 xx

@Cruz86 how many weeks are you hun and what are your symptoms?

I'm only 5+1 today! Nausea has hit me already and I've gone off most foods 😂 boobs hurt round the sides too but that's about it! Do you have many symptoms @buttongalore?

Wow that’s early! In my last two pregnancies my nausea started 6 weeks on the dot but we are all different! I’m 4+1 today and like you my boobs hurt around the sides and I’m trying to get rid off of this horrendous cold. I took decongestant tabs before I got my result, I’m so so worried

I know! I didn't have it with my son so it's shocked me. Normally when brushing my teeth or if I'm around food I don't fancy (which is most!). Ahh I'm sure it'll be okay. Although I tested positive for Covid a couple of days after I got my bfp!! Trying to get through that with just paracetamol was tough.
