7 weeks late…is this my BFP?

After weeks of BFNs, I’ve got this. It came up within 5 mins but is very faint.
Opinions please?

Heya! I'm not sure i can actually help but i can definitely see a VFL there!
Test again in the morning with FMU or wait a few more days.. hard to do i know 😩😂
What brand test are you using? Do you know the sensitivity of the test?
7 weeks late is very late, you should have a strong line by now! Perhaps its worth contacting your GP?
Although its not very common some women produce a very low HCG level sometimes undetectable on urine tests but continue to have a healthy pregnancy...
I'd ask your GP for a blood test if I were you...

I had my 2nd Covid jab in august, so I had x1 AF after that, then missed the next two. Do you think it could be related?

I guess I’m kinda wondering now, if the Covid jab might have made me miss x1 AF, then I may have conceived on the 2nd cycle? By that theory, I’d only be 2 days late right now 🤷‍♀️

Ah sorry, just read your update. Could be, there is a faint line there, did it appear within the time allowed? I'd test again in a few days and see if it gets darker.

@Buttons659 I have been reading so much lately about the Covid jab effecting peoples cycles, I wouldn't rule it out as a possibility...

The other thing is what tests you're using, I've had some really frustrating experiences with tests since TTC and I now stick with First Response or Clear blue, however clear blue can leave some pretty convincing evap lines if you check too late!! X

Have you seen the GP about your missed periods?

For 2 days late, I'd expect it to be much darker.

Thanks all. Honestly, I don’t know what’s going on. These are One-Step test strips from Amazon, they’re supposed to be 10miu, but the reviews are full of people getting really faint positives after their periods, so I doubt they actually are as sensitive as they claim to be.
Just done another and BFN 🤷‍♀️
I’ll try again with FMU tomorrow.

Just been to Asda and felt so wet down below that I thought AF had arrived. Just lots of discharge though.
Also been really belchy-hiccuppy and a bit queasy.
I just wanna know what’s going on 😩😩😩

Tested with FMU and got BFN

Tested with SMU and got this….
Slightly darker than yesterday, I don’t need to squint and angle it to see it, but still questionable 😩

Also, just realised I titled this post wrong. I’m not 7 weeks late, it’s actually 7 weeks since my last period. 😂

@Buttons659 I think you should try a FRER, also please out of curiosity could you do another this evening with 4hh and post a pic? I'd be interested to see if there is a line again and if its the same or darker !

How long are your cycles usually?

I can definitely see a line and can definitely see that it is darker than yesterday!

Ill try and find the link that someone shared the other day where it shows how many people are getting positive at what stage in their cycle and what time of day, it was an interesting read, lots of people test better with SMU or late evening rather than FMU xx

I seen the link yesterday too, it was very interesting! But surely by the time I’m a few days late, I should be getting a BFN at any time of day! My cycles are usually 25 days 🤷‍♀️
I’ll try to do a 4HH test tonight, but I did that last night and it was BFN. So confusing!

Yes i would think by now you should definitely be getting a strong BFP, however it depends on what the jab has done to your cycles, its changed some people cycles dramatically and others not at all 🤷‍♀️

I couldn’t make it to 4 hours, so here is my 3hh….
Not sure what to make of this 🤷‍♀️

They look positive to me but most likely not right for 7 weeks. Either they're very dodgy tests or you've ovulate later than usual. I would try a different brand, preferably a frer. Good luck!

I would try a first response. I used these and with DS2 got the faintest line ever (so faint I very nearly dismissed it as a negative) on day period was due. Got clear positives on both FR and a clear blue digital the same day. Took about another week for the onestep to show a clear positive.

I know you’re all right…I need to do a CB or FRER but I’m too scared! I wasn’t TTC (we just had a slip up for the first time since DS was born 6 yrs ago) so having that element of doubt is the only thing stopping me from freaking out!
I know I need to do it though. 😬

I've got a thread on here about it somewhere! The FR was a clear positive (as was digital obviously!) Even looking back at the photos of the test now you have to really study it to see anything and even then it's only a hint of a line!

Currently feeling veeeerry queasy at the smell of fabric softener coming out of the tumble drier 🤢

Hi @StillJustWaiting I havnt been able to get another test yet as I’ve been waiting in for the joiner all morning, but I’m gonna pop out to get one soon.
Got another squinter BFP with FMU…BUT I’ve just used water on the test and also got a very similar test line show up!!! So looking likely that they’re just nasty evaps!
