How long did it take to conceive your second baby?

I know this gets asked a lot so sorry. I got pregnant first cycle with our DS and naively assumed it might be the same for our second pregnancy but AF arrived this morning and I feel gutted. I also feel like it’s going to take ages this second time round, don’t know why, I’m just thinking really negatively about it and I want another child so much! How long did it take you to conceive your second in comparison to your first?

10 months. We used conceive plus men and women capsules and conceive plus lubricant this month and just found out I'm pregnant

First was a surprise, our second took 7 cycles when I was 27.

One month, the same as my first. Lots of people said second can take longer, not in our case.

First was unplanned, 2nd took 7 cycles

First took two years, second took one month. Third took a couple of months, a miscarriage, another couple of months, another miscarriage, then another couple of months which stuck. There's just no rhyme or reason to how these things work sometimes

I had 3 miscarriages age 29/30 (consecutive basically, all conceived first try) then had DC1 when I was 31. Another Mc (accidental conception) then when we properly started trying for DC2 I conceived cycle 3, when I was 33.

Took almost a year to fall with my first child (was really starting to panic something was wrong), and then 6 months with my second.

My 1st was one night currently on month 9 for ttc 2nd baby! I'm 29

@Clocloxx I'm not the op but I did respond earlier up the thread last October.

My first two pregnancies took 8 months each to conceive and I'm now 36+6 with baby number 2 (3rd pregnancy) and this pregnancy also took 8 months to conceive!

First took 3+ years to stick due to multiple losses. Second took one cycle and thankfully stuck straight away, not born yet but going well.

Third - 1st month
Fourth - 14 months

@Clocloxx hi, yes, it took 4 cycles in the end which I know isn’t long really. But the month I got pregnant was when I actually stopped trying so hard and let my hair down a bit (it was around Christmas). Good luck xx

I had sex once in two years. DC2 is due in January 🤦‍♀️

First was 17 months, 2nd was instant

First month dc 1 and dc2, but was actively trying. Knew my cycle from tracking etc etc

I was 32 with first and 34 with second- also had an accident in between.

We were really lucky and conceived both kids straight away within the first month of TTC

6 months, but only about 4 cycles, because I have really, really irregular periods. First took about 3/4 months I think. Don't really remember.

I was 32 with DS, 35 this time.

3 months after coming off the pill

First baby ten months, second baby first month and third baby twelve months.

1st was 4 months
2nd the month we decided to try again!

To add, DD1 at 35 & DD2 at 38

1st was conceived on honeymoon ( too much rum punch ) and I was 22 Second within a month of coming off the pill at 25. Third unplanned, I was 27 and sterilised soon afterwards.
