Moan about spotting

I think I'm only writing to vent and moan and perhaps see if anyone feels the same!!

Had a few cycles since coming off the pill start of July. Roughly about 28 day cycles (give or take a day).
But keep spotting from like CD25 occasionally before just brown spotting but then it's depressing because I know AF is just round the corner.
Yesterday night CD25 woke up with crap and bright red bleed just been a small amount of brown on a pad since. Genuinely don't think it's implantation and know AF will be here very soon.

Does anyone else get spotting prior to AF like this and does their head in too?! Moan over haha.

I do have other children but fell month 1 and 2 for them so can't even remember what "normal" prior to birth control is!!

Hiya, I get spotting for about 4 days before my AF usually. It's gone up from a day or so of spotting since I had DD - I was getting a bit worried about it but managed to conceive second cycle trying this time round, which included a few days of spotting too 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

I was so worried about it that I was booked in to have some cervical scans with the GP then had to cancel due to the BFP.

So yeah - annoying but can be normal and doesn't mean you're out the game!

Sounds pretty similar. So when I spot I won't completely rule myself out!
Think the random red bleed this month has just thrown and annoyed me a bit ha.
AF is long enough without adding spotting in the mix!

Weirdly my only month I had a random bright red bleed was my BFP month. But honestly I think we can't read into these things too much. 🤷‍♀️

Also a spotter since we started TTC no. 2 around March, although weirdly not so this month (yet). I'm awaiting a repeat ultrasound scan and know I've got severe endometriosis and an endometrioma which showed itself like this last time so we shall see.

Hi @Tiredmum31111. I spot for about 4/5 days before my period and it started again last week so I thought I was out. Well, I wasn't! Got my bfp a few days ago. So don't necessarily rule out any cycles if your spotting starts. It might still end positively ☺️

Yes! Last cycle for me (I’m on CD35/12dpo right now of cycle 3… or 4, I’ve already lost count) I’ve had spotting for several days followed by my period. Currently I’m on day 8 of spotting and feeling very deflated.

I'm still spotting but feels very much like my AF spotting now so sure will be here tomorrow or Wednesday but this gives me hope for future cycles!!
Even if I just know we aren't alone!
Let's be annoyed about spotting together 😆
Think my husband thinks my period lasts 3 weeks poor thing haha!

Still slight spotting here, doh. But not like usual. 😫 (which makes me get my hopes up. Laaaame. 😒) AF is due on Saturday.

@feliznavidad2 still just spotting a bit and no AF. Due today or tomorrow. But have had period pains so feel like it's eminent.

Honestly, my spotting wasn't really any different. If anything, I had more red spotting than normal! And period pains. So wishing you all the best!!

And can definitely relate to the '3 week' period. Poor partners 😂

AF arrived bang on time as expected, on to the next cycle (of spotting 😆) xx

Mine has turned redder, looks like AF is on her way. 😫 😒

Just to say, don't write off your spotting months.

As you can see below, I'd decided it couldn't happen due to spotting and a day or two later got my BFP. Sending luck to all of you, don't lose hope. X
