Hello everyone ✨🎉

I’m starting a November thread after being unsuccessful this month, got some spotting so probably cycle day 1 for me today, with fertile window being in the first week of November.

Please join me if you’re as hopeful about fresh cycle as I am!

My main goal is to DTD more, we definitely didn’t make the most of it in October …
I’m therefore going to be 100% honest with DH that we need to get down to business this cycle.

PS. Hope you like the title 🙈😂😂

Xxxx

Hi everyone, I'm on my first cycle of trying to conceive baby number 2! Think I've forgotten all the terms and how to do it (except that part 🤣) I.e ovulation tests etc!
Last time it took 6 months so fingers crossed for shorter or same.

Age 33

@hopefulmumma90 @Shortmamashortcycles @Firsttimetrier

Same for me I'm not due until the weekend do my tww won't be until the end of this month !

Saying that not sure I will even try and mines and my best friends weddings are next August and September eeeek

Lianna93 · 26/10/2021 11:15

Hey ladies - October thread seems to have dried up now, everyone's either moved onto this thread or got their BFPs.

AF is due between either today or Thursday, so just a waiting game for me at the moment.
I'll likely drop in & out of the thread, purely because I won't have too much to contribute but wishing you all the best of luck for November 🤞🏻💕

HRHXO · 26/10/2021 11:18

Hi ladies. My apps seem to think I'm 3 dpo but I'm not sure when I actually ovulated so just going with that.

I'm probably over thinking it and imagining things but I been a bit crampy since ovulation. Started out just like a pinching on my left but now it's more low and centre. Also had the odd twinge in my boobs and a slight back ache. Probably all normal for me but I'm just hyper aware of every sensation despite how early it is 😂 I need to relax!

OK92 · 26/10/2021 11:26

Hi all! This thread moves so quickly!

@Danani I'm in sync with you too - ovulation predicted 5 Nov 🤞🏼

@Digby86 the only things I'm doing differently this month are taking folic and vit d (probably should have been doing this already) and also making sure to DTD out of fertile window too. I read somewhere about sperm count and quality dropping if you go more than 5 days without DTD, which we definitely were as we were almost 'saving' ourselves for the intensity of the fertile window! Other than that I already use OPKs (just strips though, maybe I should invest in digital?) and I already take temps daily.

@Mummytobe93 have a wonderful wedding!!!

Best of luck to everyone either in the TWW or fertile window 🤞🏼

Irishfarmer · 26/10/2021 13:03

Hello ladies :) Joining in here, I'm on CD 5. First month properly ttc baby 1, after two MC in the last year. My last cycle was 40 days but that was after a MC, although my cycles can be a bit erratic. My flo app says I should ovulate 3rd Nov, my premom app (the one linked to my OPK tests) says 27th Nov, so wildly different!! AF is pretty much finished today so I think I will start testing tomorrow, I only got them a towards the end of last cycle and tried a few because I was curious!

@Mummytobe93 best of luck with the wedding tomorrow! I hope you have a fantastic time. As others have said try and absorb the day, it really goes by in a flash

Irishfarmer · 26/10/2021 13:12

@Coco9910 I'm using the easy @home tests too first cycle using them. Thank christ they were cheap enough I would never be able to afford the clear blue ones as I know I will test every single day between now and AF again!

@Mummytobe93 Just saw what you said about your vitamins. If you are taking a pre conception vitamin check and see if it contains vitamin d (it most likely does). In that case you shouldn't be taking a separate vitamin d supplement. D is a fat soluble vitamin and your body will store it even if it doesn't need it which can build up to a dangerous level. Vit B/C are water soluble so what your body doesn't need you just pee out.

Coco9910 · 26/10/2021 13:45

@Irishfarmer I used to Clearblue digital one but I wasn’t a fan, as I like to see the line progressing 😂 I like that the easy@home ones give you a number too!

Squiff70 · 26/10/2021 14:44

Hi @Irishfarmer, I'm sorry for your losses. Our cycles are in sync. I'm also on CD5. AF has stopped so I'm going to start OPKs from Thursday. My peak is expected on 5th November which feels like ages away. The TWW drags but it feels like there's a brief pause before OPK testing starts again.

Squiff70 · 26/10/2021 14:49

@Mummytobe93 I just popped in to wish you the happiest day of your life tomorrow, so far. I wish you both a day full of happiness, laughter and joy but above all, a day full of love ❤. Take a moment to look round at everyone who is there to celebrate you and your new husband and really soak it all in if you can. Those memories will last a lifetime and you'll cherish them forever.

I hope everything goes well. Enjoy every second Flowers

Mummytobe93 · 26/10/2021 15:00

@Irishfarmer thanks hun, I didn’t know that!! I need to check on the vit D

@Squiff70 @OK92 thanks lovelies 🥰🥰🥰

@Coco9910 what do you mean by the numbers? The ratio? Sorry completely new to the easy@home, they had great reviews on amazon tho.

@Squiff70 which tests do you use?

I'm sure like a lot of ppl I spent years trying to avoid getting pregnant, little did I know it doesn't just happen like magic for everyone! Granted, it does happen accidently for quite a few women too.

Squiff70 · 26/10/2021 15:09

@irishfarmer I just use Internet cheapies called One Step.

HRHXO · 26/10/2021 16:15

@Irishfarmer I use the easy@home ones too. If you have the premom app you can upload a picture of your tests and it will give you a reading like 0.88 high or 0.13 low etc. This is how I track my ovulation along with the CB as I like the smiley faces its easy to read lol x

Irishfarmer · 26/10/2021 16:29

@HRHXO thanks, I did have a "play around" with them before AF knowing I wouldn't be ovulating, I just wanted to see how to upload them etc. I like that it give you the T/C reading. Hopefully it can spot my peak. DH said he doesn't mind DTD as often as necessary though Wink

@Squiff70 I used those before, that's how I found out I was pregnant the last time! I had 7 very positive OPK tests in a row and then done a pregnancy test (about 10!) which were all positive. I'll be using the easy@home and when I get high days I'm going to try the one step ones too, I still have a few, just out of curiosity to see if they both say the same thing.

Really hoping this is my month, like all of you ladies I'm sure. A very good friend of my texted a few weeks ago to say she is pregnant. I am of course genuinely delighted for her, but also jealous.

OK92 · 26/10/2021 16:59

I am on CD8 today and did an OPK (not sure why really just want to start them earlier this cycle) and it seemed quite dark, but I usually ovulate CD16/17/18. Is that normal? I uploaded them to the premom app which also said 'high'. Confused 😵‍💫

Remember remember the month of November as it’s the month I’m getting pregnant 🎉✨

@Irishfarmer sorry I didn’t explain that very well! Yes, just what @HRHXO
said. It tells you when your reading is low, high and peak. It’s my first time using them so I’m just doing them every day and monitoring. My fertile week is due to start this weekend so hopefully my readings will start to show “high” ☺️

@Mummytobe93 I hope you have the most amazing day tomorrow! 💕 And congratulations!

Squiff70 · 26/10/2021 18:32

Time to get busy @OK92!

purpleskyssssss · 26/10/2021 18:54

Hey all I've tried to catch up as much as possible - I'm due AF on Saturday but thought I would now come over to this thread.

Good luck on your big day @Mummytobe93 hope you manage to get some sleep tonight 😀

I'm 9DPO today - I know @ViL89 you are the same how are you feeling today? & anyone else that is due AF in the next couple of days 😀

purpleskyssssss · 26/10/2021 18:55

@OK92 like @Squiff70 I would get busy just in case - keep testing, but I think some ppl can get different readings throughout not necessarily low - high - peak 😀

ViL89 · 26/10/2021 20:13

@OK92 sometimes you can get two peaks but I think go for it it looks high to me ... Great that you maybe caught it.... Time to get busyyyyy lol

@purpleskyssssss nice to see you on here!!!! Feeling no symptoms still I'm bloated and tired but thats not abnormal for me before AF! I keep thinking I'm weeing more but I could also be symptoms spotting!!! I haven't had any spotting since Saturday evening where I had a bit. I'm not going to test until next week, AF due Sunday.

How are you feeling???

purpleskyssssss · 26/10/2021 20:19

@ViL89 ooo well spotting on previous sat could be a great sign!!

I'm really trying not to symptom spot - I have woken up with a cold every morning which goes by mid day - but I also did have a cold from
3DPO which is totally too early for any symptoms 🤣 other then that usual AF cramping

Really going to try to not test, I am meant to be going for drinks for Halloween on Saturday (when I'm due) so think I will test then

ViL89 · 26/10/2021 20:33

Thanks @purpleskyssssss the cold sounds promising but I'm with you about not symptom spotting!!

Best of luck for Saturday, got everything crossed for you. I really hope I can hold out until next week I'm away Saturday and Sunday which will literally force me not to test 🙃

Nervousdave · 26/10/2021 22:40

@OK92 @Danani I also have O predicted on 5th November! Hopefully we all get some fireworks haha
Maddie2802 · 26/10/2021 22:58

Hi everyone 👋🏻 can I join please 😊
TTC number 2 and currently 4dpo but having tummy pain like I have wind but I don't (sorry tmi!) I know this is probably not related at all as it is way too early for symptoms but I can't help thinking about getting pregnant every minute of the day at the minute 🙈

Had my flu jab yesterday and not feeling 100% either but better than getting the flu!

Anyone similar cycle day as me?

Going to try and not test early this month!
