Hello everyone ✨🎉

I’m starting a November thread after being unsuccessful this month, got some spotting so probably cycle day 1 for me today, with fertile window being in the first week of November.

Please join me if you’re as hopeful about fresh cycle as I am!

My main goal is to DTD more, we definitely didn’t make the most of it in October …
I’m therefore going to be 100% honest with DH that we need to get down to business this cycle.

@LA9610 hey, yeah we got refered a fertility clinic and have our phone call appointment Wednesday so going see how that goes but sadly if advice is ivf we’re have go private as partner has a kid from pervious partner but still holding out hope each month for a bfp

I’m usually prettttty on point with health and fitness etc, but honestly the last few months I’ve fallen off the wagon (and got trampled by the horses, run over by the wheels etc…). Need to fix up. But short, cold days do not make me want to workout and eat lots of veggies! I’m all about cake and sofa snuggles at this time of year 😬

I don’t know if this is a taboo subject on a ttc forum but… ive also been quitting smoking (for ttc purposes). Which is horrific. And makes me want to sit around eating rubbish to subdue my general state of unjustified-rage-at-the-world.

@hopefulmumma90, ahh let me know how it goes please! My first appointment is in person seemingly, maybe different health-board. Oh I didn't know that even if only one partner had a child you need to go private :( How long have you been TTC?

I’m the same @Digby86 as soon as the mornings are dark, I’d rather stay in bed than get up and go to the gym! During spring and summer, I’ll go 5 or 6 days a week, but in autumn and winter it’s more like 5 or 6 days a season 😂.
Plus, I crave warm hearty dinners and hate salads when it gets cold!

@LA9610 yeah I defo will, I’m hoping they will do another sperm analysis on my partner as his last one he did was better than the others his morphology was 3% but we’ve done a lot in ways to improve it so would like know if any of it helped
I’ve booked myself if for a private scan because wasn’t sure how long on nhs I would have to wait and will be having to go private anyways
We’ve been trying on and off for prob over two years, but only recently started making changes and actively trying how long have you?
And yeah in our area that’s the case about partner having another child but it varies by location and what the rules are for that area

@Digby86 I have started using OPK's this month as my period has been very irregular. Hoping they will work and I can catch my peak. 🤞 my husband and I r also DTD every other day until i can see the lines on my OPK's getting darker then we will do it everyday. (Sounds a bit like a chore 🙈) while trying to not put lots of pressure on ourselves.
Working on my diet and trying to choose healthier options. 1½ stone down so just need to keep going. X

I'm TTC #2, this is month 2 of trying.

I already feel out this month, I usually get very sore breasts as soon as I've ovulated and this month there's nothing. I just feel it, I'm out.

Hmm still getting negative opks (well, I couldn't decide if I could see a faint faint line yest or not and I had none to test sat...) But still have ewcm. It started Saturday. We dtd weds, sat & sun, maybe try and squeeze a quickie in this evening for luck 😂😂😂😂

@Digby86 I also cut out nicotine (vaping) before TTC so you have my sympathy. I went cold turkey and found the first 3 or so days hard but then it got much easier. Good luck!

I'm a bit fed up today. I can't work out my cheap OPK strips this cycle. They are hovering around the 0.5 mark but not going higher and I'm wondering if I missed my surge overnight. I normally have a very sudden surge so it is possible. I'm just trying not to worry too much and waiting for my temperature to confirm when ovulation happens.

TTC is so tiring. My brain is CONSTANTLY calculating days till ovulation, sperm survival rates, OPK test to control line ratios... it never stops!! I actually find the fertile window way more stressful than the TWW 😅

Hello! Hope you don’t mind me joining! Cycle day 2 for me, my cycles are around 35-50 days usually. Last month was 44. I have a LP of around 10 days too. It’ll be my 3rd cycle trying for baby number 1! I may miss the month of November as this cycle has only just started, so if it’s longer, it may run into December but 🤞 it’ll be on the shorter side! Hi All! I have moved over from the October thread, not out yet as only 7dpo but we only DTD once during fertile week due to me having covid, and this was 2 days before ov so I'd say 90% sure the November thread is for me - plus I wouldn't be testing till November anyway 😜

@hopefulmumma90, ah fingers crossed they do another SA then, my OH hasn't had his yet, there is a backlog apparently so been told it could be up to 3 months for him to get an appointment apparently. It's been a year since we started actively trying and we have been pretty religious every time but it just hasn't happened yet. I had my day 21 blood test last week so waiting for results of that but have already had an external ultrasound of ovaries which came back clear. The letter for the appointment next week sounds like I'll be having a vaginal ultrasound there and then they will decide if any further tests are needed!

@SkaterChick do your OPKs say your close with faint lines. Just asking as mine say you're only close with definite lines and peak is only when the line is as dark or darker. I tend to get faint lines most days.

@Mummytobe93 and @la9610 I got tests done in August. Two blood tests which were needed on specific cycle dates I think 4/5 and cycle day 21 and also an ultrasound. DH got a sperm analysis too. Everything came up clear which gave us a bit if peace of mind so fingers crossed it will do the same for you

@Peauela keep testing... I got a peak on CD 28 one month when my cycles are usually 30 days. Was a weird cycle and I nearly gave up testing but then got the peak!

@ViL89 not sure tbh, I'd have to check the box. They're only cheap £land ones! But the month I got preg I got no line, no line, faint line, faint line, no line. But these faint lines are the faintest of faints, virtually non existent. I'm hoping maybe I peaked Saturday when I didn't test but also I have no idea when to expect it as I haven't had a period since MC at the start of the month

@skaterchick I think they can all be different so makes sense and fingers crossed for you that you caught it !!!!! I always struggle to nail it down.

Hi Ladies

I'm new around here, CD1 today. Cycle #3 TTC.

A little down after a BFN on a first response the other day and now spotting. Second cycle TTC, with 2 months before that NTNP after removing my IUD. Last cycle was 33 days down from 36, so that's an improvement, but it still feels super long. Thankfully I'm so busy with work this time of year that time does seem to pass quite quickly.

I have 3 older boys from a previous relationship but this will be DPs first. DS12 & 15 live with their dad and DS10 with me and DP.

Anxious about being overweight this time and much older (nearly 33) Trying to eat healthier and exercise more, but it doesn't seem to be that effective and we both run our own businesses so time is a precious commodity.

DS10 is SUPER excited about the idea of being a big brother, but he's old enough to understand it'll take time.

Fingers crossed for some Xmas miracles this year.

@LA9610 oh really yeah that’s a long wait for the sperm analysis but is good your had most of your tests, yeah I had the day 1 and 21 tests and was clear but not had any scans that’s what il be having in couple weeks the vagina scan and some other blood test amh or something like that
That’s good that your in for the vagina scan pretty quick hope the results will all be okay for you, keep me updated
@ViL89 thanks, even with my oh sperm only having 3% morphology everything else was good just could take longer I’m still holding out hope each month

@Shortmamashortcycles I’m still waiting for AF, so will have a similar TWW to you. I really thought AF would arrive yesterday as I had spotting in the morning and usually I then come on in the evening, but no signs of AF this morning. Had BFN to date, so guessing I should come on today or tomorrow as today is CD29 and I’m normally like clockwork.

@Shortmamashortcycles @Firsttimetrier hey I’m still waiting for af to arrive as well, it’s meant to be sue about Thursday or Friday but I normally have spotting a couple of days before hand, have the cramps so think she’s on her way so I think il have about the same tww as well

@Firsttimetrier, @hopefulmumma90, aww yay cycle buddies! Yeah I'm usually a spotter pre-period and usually only 26 day cycles but so far nothing.

It's my first full cycle after miscarriage though so I'm pretty sure I ovulated late - if so, AF should turn up on Friday or Saturday.
