Hello everyone ✨🎉

I’m starting a November thread after being unsuccessful this month, got some spotting so probably cycle day 1 for me today, with fertile window being in the first week of November.

Please join me if you’re as hopeful about fresh cycle as I am!

My main goal is to DTD more, we definitely didn’t make the most of it in October …
I’m therefore going to be 100% honest with DH that we need to get down to business this cycle.

PS. Hope you like the title 🙈😂😂

Never has a thread title amused me quite like this... AF has started finally after a 36 day cycle (normally 28) which means my fertile week has been recalculated in my app. Turns out I'm due to ovulate on... yep, the 5th November. Remember remember indeed!

Coco9910 · 22/10/2021 19:31

@Squiff70 do you track ovulation? Mine has been late the last 2 months..must be something in the water 😩 wishing you lots of luck this cycle!

Squiff70 · 22/10/2021 19:36

@Coco9910 yep I do. Mine has been fine but I had major surgery last month and think my body has been a bit shocked, and had an anovulatory cycle. I've read LOTS of women are ovulating later or having longer cycles since having their Covid vaccine(s) though but haven't yet seen any firm evidence that it's the cause. That said, I would urge anyone who hadn't had their vaccine(s) to have them even during TTC. There's no point TTC if you end up on a ventilator or worse...

kitty1993 · 22/10/2021 19:45

@Squiff70 I couldn't agree more! Got my booster jab tomorrow and although I'm worried about side effects making me feel awful and making DTD difficult during my fertile window I'm still going to get it. I had covid at the start of the year and I felt awful with it and I'm generally healthy and fit. Can't even imagine being that unwell while also being pregnant 😢

Coco9910 · 22/10/2021 20:30

@Squiff70 oh yes your body is probably shocked! Hope you are recovering well 💕 yes 100% I think that my vaccine messed my cycle up a little but I’m glad I got them done!

Danani · 23/10/2021 07:40

Officially joining you now, as AF just showed up for me. CD1 and O currently predicted for the 6th.

Mummytobe93 · 23/10/2021 07:57

Good morning

Just a quick one as I’m having such a stressful time with the wedding prep and some work issues at the same time, I’m literally in bits!!

Welcome to all new arrivals, I’m so sorry for AF arriving for some of you from the October thread but we’ve got this 🎉 Let’s think about as though our bodies were just very picky about which egg to implant 😉 And we’re just waiting for the perfect match 🥚🏊🏻

@Danani hope you treat yourself this weekend 🧀🍷🥂 Xxx

Morning Ladies

Do you mind if I join I’m 4dpo currently on cycle 13 ttc no3 I’m due af on nov 1st. Already I’m not feeling hopeful as my temp has been all over the place confirmed ov with positive opk on cd16 had some really horrible belly ache already but more like a pressure feeling down below don’t know what it is as I’ve never had it before.

Peauela · 23/10/2021 08:30

Hi all! Joining in to if I can :) CD16 for me today. Hugs !

Coco9910 · 23/10/2021 10:08

@Danani oh no sorry to hear AF has arrived! November is the month for us all 🥰

@Donthaveaclue1 I feel like our bodies play tricks on us when TTC and starts giving us random pains! Good luck for this cycle 🤞🏼

@Peauela good luck for this cycle! 💕

Donthaveaclue1 · 23/10/2021 12:23

Thank you @Coco9910 I’m not holding out much hope for this month but we shall see good luck to you too.

Digby86 · 23/10/2021 14:02

@Danani so sorry to hear AF showed up! I was keeping everything crossed for you on the October thread!

@Mummytobe93 I love your “perfect match” logic. Just waiting for the egg/sperm duo that will make us all our perfect little beans!

I noticed there are a few ladies on here with short cycles. I’m pretty new to this, so can I ask what the concern is? I had periods all the time I was on the implant and that seems to have continued since coming off it (25 days last month). But post-implant my period seems to be much much lighter and shorter (3 days of light flow down from 7/8 of much heavier). I read something about luteal phase and your body not having enough chance to build up lining sufficient to support a pregnancy. Is that right?

I have myself worried now (a) that I’m getting my o dates totally out or (b) that I’m higher risk of an early miscarriage. I’m only on cycle 2 so probs a bit early for all this paranoia 😬

Digby86 · 23/10/2021 14:02

Sorry meant to say “short cycles” during and since implant, not just periods!

Squiff70 · 23/10/2021 17:44

@Mummytobe93 sorry to hear you're super stressed with wedding preparations and with work. When is your wedding?

Mummytobe93 · 23/10/2021 20:12

Hello, I had such a busy day 🥵

@Digby86 I think cycles longer than 21 days are considered normal, so I wouldn’t worry unless yours are shorter? Short luteal phase is when there’s less than 10 days between your ovulation and your period. I think as long as you ovulate early, shorter cycles shouldn’t be a problem 🙂

@Squiff70 I’m getting married on Wednesday 🙈🙈🙈

@Mummytobe93 Ahhh that's so exciting! I got married in July and I wish I could relive that day! It was the best day ever ❤️ wishing you the fantastic time and lots of love ❤️❤️❤️

Mummytobe93 · 23/10/2021 20:31

Thanks lovely @Peauela ☺️ Xx

@Mummytobe93 that's sooo exciting. It's stressful now but it'll be worth it and on your special day you'll be able to relax and enjoy the day with your husband(to be) and have it all just about the two of you. I'm sure it'll be just as you want it, every little detail Flowers

Glago2017 · 24/10/2021 00:33

Can I join please?
I am on CD12 trying for #2. My periods are really irregular so trying OPK's for the 1st time this month. Started using them earlier this week so hopefully that will help 🤞
Trying not to get to wrapped up in it all and put pressure on us but also very excited and hoping November is our month.

Digby86 · 24/10/2021 08:22

@Mummytobe93 thanks so much! And CONGRATS on the wedding. I remember the pre wedding/work stress so clearly, but I am sure your day will be absolutely magical. My top tip is just to go with the flow when the big day comes and enjoy every minute. Hope you have an amazing day!

Mummytobe93 · 24/10/2021 09:07

Good morning🌞

Thank you darlings! I’m planning to inform my DH that our wedding night is the beginning of my fertile week - how romantic is that 😂😂😂

In all honesty, it should be a good night 😊

Hi Ladies I've been quietly following the October threads. I used to be a big commenter but stepped away for a bit. Felt the need to jump back on as had some spotting last night at CD21 it was crimson sorry tmi and have cramping today so I don't think it's implantation think I'd be wishful thinking. Anyway I ovulated on CD15 and DTD that day the 2 days leading up to it and day after so we definitely caught it. I'm feeling like I will just slowly come on now. This is our last try this year as getting married in Sep next year so feels like a double loss for us. Sorry to be negative, congrats to the October BFPs and best of luck for everyone trying in Nov xxxx

Leibee87 · 24/10/2021 10:32

Moving over to here now. 10dpo but BFN and now some bleeding. Af is due Fri but I'll see how this develops as could be cd1

Donthaveaclue1 · 24/10/2021 10:33

Congratulations @Mummytobe93 I got married in June. Hope you have the most magical day x

Leibee87 · 24/10/2021 11:11

@Mummytobe93 good luck with the wedding. We got married in Sept. I was a covid bride. It was amazing. Best day. I remember all the stress leading up to it though 😂. One of my bridesmaids was moving back from oz and landed the Fri morning and we had to sort her a bridesmaid dress because in oz she was in lock down and couldn't get her one altered. She was also 4 months pregnant by the time she arrived (though I knew that 😂) so I couldn't just get her another dress incase it wouldn't have fitted. We have been married 7 weeks now.
