Hello everyone ✨🎉

I’m starting a November thread after being unsuccessful this month, got some spotting so probably cycle day 1 for me today, with fertile window being in the first week of November.

Please join me if you’re as hopeful about fresh cycle as I am!

My main goal is to DTD more, we definitely didn’t make the most of it in October …
I’m therefore going to be 100% honest with DH that we need to get down to business this cycle.

PS. Hope you like the title 🙈😂😂

Xxxx

@MrsBiddy haha my husband was the same 'it happens, when it happens' and thinking I was just being negative when I would get upset and start to question why it's not happened. We are now a year in and he has also been known to cry when I get my period. Bless his soul, he really thought it would just happen but with every cycle I think he has realised it doesn't always work like that!

RosieRainbow1986 · 21/10/2021 15:50

Hi all, jumping on this one if it's OK! I'm 35 and my husband is 33, trying for our first.

We did have a miscarriage in August at about 7 weeks and currently on CD2 of second cycle since that. My last cycle was only 21 days - before the miscarriage they were about 24-25 which I thought was short enough so I hope this 21 day on
e was just a blip.

The month we did get pregnant was a month of 'if it happens it happens' and didn't track or anything but I'm now obsessively back using the Clearblue Digitals! I have also just started BBT but don't know how long it'll last tbh.

Good luck to all of you this month 🤞💕

SkaterChick · 21/10/2021 16:42

@Cruz86 I'm ready to try again but terrified of further heart break. I don't want to wait to TTC as it took us 9 months to get the first pregnancy.

Probably going to start obsessively peeing on opks to check if I'm ovulating as I have no idea if / when I'll ovulate or get my period following the MC.

kitty1993 · 21/10/2021 17:55

@RosieRainbow1986 my cycles are quite short as well (around 25-26 days) they've been known to be 21 days which really got me panicking. I've been planning to start TTC for a while so I looked into all the things that can help lengthen my cycle. Currently taking B6, CoQ10 and vitamin C (on top of a load of other supplements for my endo ☹️) and my cycles have been more consistent 🙌

Kinda interested to see if my endo affects my fertility also kinda terrified it will have completely ruined it! Only time will tell!

Firsttimetrier · 21/10/2021 18:17

Hello, I’m dipping my toe in this thread as I’m not completely out of the October thread. 8 or 9DPO, but will test on Saturday morning when I’m 10 or 11 DPO!

RosieRainbow1986 · 21/10/2021 18:43

@kitty1993 I'm glad those have helped with your cycles :-) I started taking CoQ10 in June (and got pregnant the next cycle so definitely rate it!) and started 100mg of B6 last month. Hopefully will start to see a difference soon - you've given me hope! 🤞 Also on Vit C, B12, Vit D, Folic Acid as well as pregnacare. I did also try 75mg aspirin last cycle after reading up on it and it was recommended to my friend by her consultant and I think I'll try it again this time. Although half the time I never know what to do for the best! 🤷‍♀️

MrsYan · 21/10/2021 18:45

Hey everyone!

Can I join please? Currently CD 8 of 2nd cycle ttc no. 2.

I'm 28 and my DP is 39.

We had a house move and renovation starting on our new house during last months fertile window... but we are alllll ok for this month 👌🏽🙏🏼 feeling positive. Good luck everyone xox

Shortmamashortcycles · 21/10/2021 19:41

@RosieRainbow1986, hello we are the same age, I'm also just coming back to TTC after an mc in August and also have short cycles (the username is a dead giveaway). I'm TTC #2 and literally went through all of Google trying to figure out my cycle the first time round.

I take B Complex, Vit C, the normal folic acid, and also agnus castus (vitex), and that seemed to work for me!

kitty1993 · 21/10/2021 19:41

@RosieRainbow1986 that's good news about the COQ10 working well for you. I've seen it mentioned on loads of other threads and I've been taking it for around 5 months now so really hoping it will have helped! Some of my endo was one of my ovaries so I've been keen to try and make sure my egg quality is as good as possible 😃
Have you read "it's starts with the egg"?

Mummytobe93 · 22/10/2021 07:39

Hi to all new arrivals 👋

Friday’s here, have you got anything nice planned this weekend ladies?

Good luck with testing @Firsttimetrier !

@RosieRainbow1986 I’m sorry about your MC, hopefully your cycle gets back to its usual length.

Mine was 25 days which is shorter than I thought but thankfully I ovulate pretty early on.. Really need to make the most of it this cycle, as soon as OPKs start showing the faintest line it’s a “go” time - last cycle I went from faint line to a peak within 24 hrs. I’ve only caught it cause I’m a freak and was testing 3 times a day 😜

Regarding vitamins/ supplements, I’m currently on Asda conception/pregnancy complex, Folic acid + vit D, Vitamin C, evening primrose oil, probiotics and I’m taking low dose aspirin.
With the aspirin it’s just my personal preference as I’ve found some research stating that it does increase blood flow in your uterus and might prevent early MC (not that I had one). It’s considered safe in the 1st trimester so I thought I give it a go! I know I’m ok with aspirin, but if I had any underlying health conditions (I.e heart problems, blood clotting disorder or stomach ulcers) I’d definitely consult my doctor first.

@Mummytobe93 I did a FRER this morning and it was a BFN, so think I’m forming over here as AF is due in 5 days. Wish she would just arrive now so we can crack on!

Danani · 22/10/2021 09:33

@Firsttimetrier nonsense.

You know a FRER has like 30% chance (if not lower) to show a BFP that early before AF is due. For a truly true result, test either the day before AF or the day of expected AF. Then the reliability is like 98% or something like that.
You're totally not out, so step away from the temptation for a few more days, and positive vibes plz!
You gave it a very good shot this month, there is a pretty solid chance you get that BFP it's just insanely early today still! :)

Danani · 22/10/2021 09:35

Morning everyone else!
LOL, should have started with that but @Firsttimetrier got me distracted!

@Mummytobe93, I'm very impressed with all the supplements! I'm only taking conception vitamins (Proceive), so might look into some of the things you have mentioned and try to step up my game this month.

AF due tomorrow, so pretty sure I can join you guys officially in a day or so.

Happy Friday and good luck to everyone!

Firsttimetrier · 22/10/2021 09:54

Thanks for the pep talk @Danani I will step away from the FRERs and this thread until after the weekend!

Coco9910 · 22/10/2021 10:54

Does anyone else find the wait for your fertile week almost as long as the TWW? 😅 Feels so long this cycle and I’m only CD9. Ive ovulated a week late the past two cycles making my cycles about 38 days but hoping this cycle I ovulate on time 🤞🏼

emmatake2 · 22/10/2021 11:40

Hi, first time joining a group like this! Good luck to you all for this month. Had a miscarriage at end of Aug and Nov will be our first month trying again for #2. We conceived 2nd cycle each time (DD & miscarriage) - have all my OPKs ready to go!

BH1926 · 22/10/2021 12:37

@Coco9910 YES! 🤣 I'm CD 6 and it feels likes it dragging already 🙈 it's my DD birthday on Tuesday so hoping that distracts me over the weekend with prepping for it. Fingers crossed it's our month!

Hey @emmatake2 so sorry to hear about your loss. Hope this is your month 🤞🏻❤️

kitty1993 · 22/10/2021 12:46

@Coco9910 @BH1926 I'm feeling exactly the same! CD9 today and technically now in my fertile window (usually ovulate day 13 but sometimes day 12) feels like it's taken a year to get to CD9 🙈

Even though this is our first cycle trying, ive spent years tracking my temps and CM etc more as a way to prevent pregnancy so I'm hoping that all my knowledge will come to good use this cycle 😃although saying that ive actually decided not to track bbt now that we're trying as I feel it would get too stressful for me and I'd be obsessing over temp dips and high temps etc.

crabcake31 · 22/10/2021 14:29

All of my OPKs say to not start testing until CD12ish. Do folks here start sooner? I have no idea when my ovulation actually starts and I don't want to miss it!

Ocelotka · 22/10/2021 14:36

1 DPO today so hopping on!

Squiff70 · 22/10/2021 14:36

@crabcake31 noo start earlier, ideally as soon as your period finishes but ideally from CD7 onwards, if not a little earlier than that. CD12 is potentially a bit late to start tracking.

CShandy01 · 22/10/2021 14:46

Could I please hop on? Technically I'll be due AF on Halloween....no omen there at all 😂😂 so if I am late it'll be the 1st Nov. 5dpo here. Well I say that, I THINK I'm 5dpo because I put a stop to all testing this month and just went off EWCM, which stopped on Monday, so I assumed I ovulated on Sunday...although god knows really!! I think I'm on cycle 5, but then again, can't really remember 😂😂😂 have a lovely DD who is 27 months so would love to give her a sibling xx

beckybabyx · 22/10/2021 17:15

AF arrived today so officially joining this thread. And my thermometer is arriving today from Amazon so perfect timing for testing bbt!
Feeling very positive that I’m on day 1 of the cycle it’s going to happen for me 🤞🏽 And hopefully everyone on this thread xx

Coco9910 · 22/10/2021 17:39

@kitty1993 so exciting if you are in your fertile window already! My apps are predicting ovulation around 2nd / 3rd November so that will be about CD20 for me!

@BH1926 yes that will be a good distraction! Hopefully this is our month! 🥰

@crabcake31 the last few cycles in tracked from when the instructions suggested but this cycle I’ve bought a box of 100 easy@home OPKs so I’ve started tracking from CD5 and i think it will be interesting to get a full insight to my cycle!

crabcake31 · 22/10/2021 18:00

thanks @Coco9910 and @Squiff70! This process is so tough for a recovering perfectionist aha
