Hello everyone ✨🎉

I’m starting a November thread after being unsuccessful this month, got some spotting so probably cycle day 1 for me today, with fertile window being in the first week of November.

Please join me if you’re as hopeful about fresh cycle as I am!

My main goal is to DTD more, we definitely didn’t make the most of it in October …
I’m therefore going to be 100% honest with DH that we need to get down to business this cycle.

@Mummytobe93 yes I think I had it Tuesday / Wednesday. I’m hoping it will have gone down this afternoon / evening. How exciting fingers crossed for you! I’m going to try wait it out again and hope AF doesn’t arrive 😂

@Coco9910 if you get a high reading then it dips before going high again, it could be because you failed to ovulate the first time. If this happens, the body recognises it and tried again to ovulate a day or two later, hence the second higher reading. Aren't bodies amazing?

30 years old, TTC #1, cycle 8, CD15. Potentially 8 days PO. Cycle length is 28 days. I have endometriosis so have kicked off conversations with my GP, based on the fact I've been doing ovulation tests for the last 3 months and have never had a positive result. She sent me for a day 19 blood test last month (I fainted afterwards which was mortifying!), but those results suggest I did ovulate

I'm a little more excited this month though because I decided to take an ovulation test the day after my period finished and it was a very dark line which I wasn't expecting at all! To be honest if I was ovulating that early in my cycle I have NO idea what that all means, but anyway, here I am! If anyone can shed some light on that I'd be grateful :D

@Sd183 I am 32 and have been TTC for 6 cycles, this will be number 7 - baby number 1 so we are in a similar boat. So strange to get a very dark line straight after your period. SO great your results confirmed you did in fact ovulate. Depending on the tests you use, I think it is really easy to miss your peak. How are you finding the whole journey? x

@Squiff70 our bodies are amazing! I will keep tracking my OPKs and see what happens and will try convince my partner we need to DTD tomorrow just in case 😂

Hi flyonthewall89!

To be honest I’m finding it incredibly difficult. Have had 4 friends fall straight away without even trying which makes me feel useless. The endo adds so much pressure. But thankfully my GP is being shit hot on the whole thing which is a big relief. Hubby is having his tests in a few weeks so things are happening which makes me feel better.

Honestly I know this sounds mad but I almost wish the blood test had said I wasn’t ovulating as that would have given us something to focus on and work towards. But never mind, I’m really trying to be hopeful this month! How are you finding it all? Xx

Just done another OPK and got a low reading so hoping the “high” this morning was just a mid-read as it didn’t look particularly darker than others. I’m going to keep testing for the next couple of days to ensure they stay low. This will keep me busy during the TWW 😂

Ladies, this seems a little premature I know but I've started a December thread for those of you who are out so far this month.

Hopefully I won't see many of you over there because many of you will get your BFPs this month, but for those of us who don't, we have somewhere to congregate whilst we wait for Santa to bring us our Christmas BFPs!

Curious if anyone else has experienced this....according to my app my fertile week was due to start on Mon just past so I started the clearblue ovulation tests, I've now had 5 days of flashing smiley faces of high fertility. Hasn't changed to peak yet, is it possible that it will still appear? I've used them with my first pregnancy but never had this.

@xoxo321 if you DTD on the 4th that's yesterday and the perfect time if around then/now is your peak so yes you're definitely in with a chance!

Evening all, been very MIA this month. Work has been insanely crazy, we’ve put our flat up for sale and we’re having an open day tomorrow so been running around all week getting everything prepped, and finally entered FW after what felt like the longest period of my life.

Congrats to those who’ve got their BFP! Hope everything goes well for you.

I’ve decided not to use OPKs this month and just trying to take a step back but kind of feel like I’m wasting a month, but we will see what happens!

@xoxo321 I wouldn't trust your app over your opk. If they didn't show a peak yet, you might not have ovulated yet. It's highly unlikely to have a regular cycle already, given you've just came off the pill in September. I'd just keep in testing xx

Officially in TWW, temp jumped over the roof this morning. I had a very painful O this time but even with the pain we managed to cover all days, big 👏to DH! 🤩
Speaking of the devil, he had the waiting time done, sadly he didn’t get his “dream”job, but already lined up for another interview, so being very hopeful for him.

In the next two weeks I won’t BBT everyday, too much things going on and I don’t want to overworry that I might not have enough sleep to measure correctly.

@Coco9910 regarding of your high OPK reading it looks like your body failed to ovulate on the first go OR you did ovulate 1 of your eggs and you have another one which is trying to been released a few days later -> double ovulation, chance for twins.

My temps are rising but FF didn’t detect O yet I’ve had peak OPK on CD14

I’ve got two night shifts coming up next week, just around the time the implementation can happen so charting is going to be difficult…

I think I’m also officially in the TWW. The apps all have wildly varying fw predictions for me, but even the latest of these ran up to yesterday. So im now in the waiting portion (not symptom spotting… if I can resist!) of the month. AF should be due around mon 15th but think I’ll hold off on testing until the weekend after - so a full 14 days to go unless AF arrives and answers the question for me before then. Agh!

Sounds like most people are in/soon to be in the TWW? Let the craziness commence… 🤣

Got my flashy smiley today, but last cycle I had flashy smiley for about 4 days before I finally got my static so means nearly in my most fertile time now

I find it amusing that so many of us on this thread are in sync. The next 2-3 weeks will be very interesting! I'm hoping to see as many BFPs as on Danani's Lucky October thread!

My premom app updated itself when I had my peak LH on Thursday. It said I would O yesterday, we DTD Thursday but not yesterday. So I'm hoping it's enough. Might DTD tonight again, in case it was a little late. So I think I am now in the TWW gang!

@Dobcaty oh that’s really interesting! I’m going to keep monitoring my OPKs over the next few days and see what happens. Maybe DTD one more time just for luck 😂 I am a twin myself, and the twin gene is passed down through identical twins..how exciting 😂

@Coco9910 WOW! I am twin too, however we are not identical. He inherited all the goods from our parents, blond-handsome-tall with amazing blue eyes. Me on the other hand brown-short but I got the brain 😇😅 (or I've been swapped in the hospital as it was a baby bum that time 😂)

My easy @ home are stuck on low, and CB is just giving me flashing smileys for the third day in a row after a bunch of blank circles! CD 15 today and I usually get my peak CD14-CD16, so really not sure what’s the holdup! Today is my predicted O day according to the apps, but at this rate we’re looking at tomorrow/Mon IF I get at least a high reading today!

Ughhhh this has never been an issue, my peaks so far have always aligned with my app predictions, so I’m feeling annoyed and frustrated at the unpredictability this month!
Please send me positive OPK vibes! I want that peak tonight/tomorrow 😫🤞🏻
