Any expert BBT charting people?

Can someone have a look at my chart for me and let me know what's going on? (This is cycle 2 post miscarriage so my body might not be back to my normal cycle yet). Why is my temp so high and I've not ovulated?

Normal cycle 25D with Ovulation D10-13.
1st cycle post miscarriage 25D with ovulation D18.

Oof you have very high temps overall - is it normal for you to reach 36.9 in the FP?

It would probably be a good idea to adjust your CD8 temp with a bbt temp adjuster, just in case it's giving the illusion of a temp shift at CD9 already.

I'd say realistically you're still waiting to ovulate but there's the risk you ovulated early at cd8. All you can do is carry on temping in the mean time to see if anything else happens.

@Juno231 thanks for having a look! It's really odd! Generally I'm low before (about 36.5degrees) and shift post ovulation to 36.8degrees and above.
Might just be another messed up cycle post miscarriage!
I just don't see me ovulating and having a temp higher than what it is now...above 37degrees!
I think we're out this month now anyway as hubby is away until Friday!

@Hopefulhedgehog so that's what I almost assumed (and with my 'usual' ovulation prior to miscarriage being about 10days and my period only lasting 3days this time and not 5) to me D8 wouldn't seem out of the ordinary! But I'm unsure why FF doesn't agree 🤷🏻‍♀️ maybe it thinks D8 is too early!
Tempted to start ovulation sticks next month but I hated them last time/ found it all too stressful! But I'd be interested to have known if I did get a positive opk then too as then I'd know! 🤦🏻‍♀️

Can you adjust the time so it counts CD8 as a temp taken at normal time? I wonder if it is discounting it because you took it earlier/later than usual

@Hopefulhedgehog I've tried all sorts to see and it doesn't change it. I've tried discounting the higher temp day 3, putting day 8 as normal time/ even discounting day 8 completely 🤦🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️ I probably haven't ovulated, but I'm not sure I will as I won't get a big temp rise over what I already am! Strange! Maybe it's a cycle I don't ovulate!

If you adjust cd3 lower does it create a cross then?

@ZenHarmony I've tried and it doesn't. I've tried discounting d3 temp, discounting D8 temp and also adjusting the time (to normal time) for D8 temp and nothing brings a crosshairs 🤷🏻‍♀️
I'm confused!

It might be because you've put fertile CM on CD 12?

@Juno231 good point! Just tried to take it away and it changed nothing, tried all of the hacks in one go and still nothing! Is it because I didn't ovulate until D18 last time maybe? It's still guessing I'd ovulate in 2 days? (D16) 🤷🏻‍♀️

How about making d13 higher , you have high temps and then it dips? I used to know and expert on these who would get this in two seconds but not on here anymore darn.

So it's dipped again this morning, but annoyingly it's because my son woke me at 4am so I took it then before I jumped out of bed. Usually take it at 6.30am-ish 🙄 I'll just keep monitoring, think it's just going to be a weird cycle 🤷🏻‍♀️ thanks for trying! 😊

And I'm on a night shift tonight so tomorrow's temp will be all over the shop too! Guess I just have to wait and see! Hubby is away until Friday so we can't do anything this week anyhow! It's more for if we need to get on it this weekend! Might do just to cover us xx

I think I'm right in saying FF recognises ovulation if there are 3 temps in a row higher than the previous readings, so it's that previous high on CD 3 that negates this for CD8. Did you get any other signs of ovulation on CD8? If you didn't ovulate until CD 18 last time then it seems probable that you are yet to ovulate, so I would keep your eye out for other signs alongside temp change.

Anymore views on it now? Had a drop for 2 days and now back up! Maybe i just won't ovulate this month? 🤷🏻‍♀️🙄

The two temp drops were not usual time (1st day was earlier by 2 hours as my son woke up) and 2nd one was after a short nap post night shifts.

@careynurse without looking at the temp numbers I'd say it's potentially an anovulatory cycle but it does throw me how high they are! How long is your LP normally? If CD8 was OD then surely AF or a BFP should be imminent?

Gut feel is anovulatory though, I'm sorry

LP on last cycle was very short as ovulated late at D18.
Usual pre miscarriage was 25D cycle and ovulation D10-13 so not too bad an LP.

Just had 2 weird cycles now post miscarriage and it all back to normal to at least give us a chance of conceiving xx

If you get weird temps due to being woken up, you should try an ovusense. I found my charts were all over the place until I got one of them. Unless, your charts are normally clear to read of course. I used to wake up odd times or move to much and was impossible to tell anything

Going on your cm alone I would BD a lot though

Hi girls, so FF never confirmed ovulation but my thoughts were D8 which would make me 12DPO today, and for some strange reason I decided to test today (I think because I didn't want the disappointment later in the week of AF to catch me)...
