TTC Chaos!

I wasn't too sure what to label this thread but at the moment it feels like chaos so I guess that is what I shall go with... The background and clinical information to all of this is a lot - so please don't pass opinions on our decisions as I won't be putting the reasons why on here.

I have a DS who is 11 months old. He was born premature - we are very lucky he survived. However, I've had a recent cardiac diagnosis which means that in about 18 months my heart may not be able to cope with another pregnancy... So... the race is on! However we always wanted 2 and no matter how dramatic and difficult pregnancy number 1 was - we are sure we want number 2.

I stopped my mini pill on the 2/10 and have yet to have any bleeding or LH surge... I am still feeding my LO so am wondering if this is having an affect! We have access to CLOMID 100mg which may help us along but haven't used this yet...

Any idea on ovulation time frames? Or if I can fall pregnant this month at all?

So sorry to hear of your health issues!

I was advised by the doctor when I came off the mini pill my fertility will return immediately, which it did. A few years back, I did become pregnant without having a period first however it did sadly result in a miscarriage (not to say yours will) but it's probably best to wait till you have had your "proper af" rather than withdrawal bleed. That way you can better track ovulation.

Hey @theodora2146 that's really helpful. My LO was just that - one month, proper AF and then next month fell pregnant. I am hoping for the same but equally very impatient as know we are against the clock in terms of my cardiac situation but also the twice now postponed wedding and wanting to fit into my dress after next baby arrives 😂
