Pregnancy test progression? Help x

Hi all

I'm asking about whether the photo I'm going to post following this is good progression for my tests? I had a TFMR in June, chemical pregnancy last month, so really hoping this is going to be ok.

I'm only 10 DPO today and I've read that strong lines so early can sometimes not be a good sign? I did a digital today which says 2-3 weeks so also slightly confused with that?

Thanks in advance 🥰xx

Hi @berriesandcream1. Sorry to hear about your TFMR and chemical - I'm sure that was very hard. There's no photo yet, so I can't comment on progression, but if you're genuinely only 10 dpo (you were tracking with OPKs and/or BBT) then 2-3 weeks on a CB Digital is pretty impressive! I don't think I've heard of strong lines ever being a bad sign. High hcg that early can be (but isn't always) indicative of multiples.

If you're getting that result with the digital now, I'd stop testing with home tests. The only way you will know for sure is if you monitor bloods every 48-72 hrs and as you probably know most GPs/EPUs won't do that unless there's a risk factor.

Based on your history, I'd get in touch with your EPU to let them know you're expecting again. They'll likely tell you to wait until at least six weeks, but it's worth making them aware of you!

Hello there, I'm so very sorry to hear of your losses. I too have had a TFMR this summer followed by a chemical and know the pain of that.

I have never heard of dark lines being a bad sign early on. I also wanted to see if there was a chance you may have ovulated earlier than you think and could therefore be further along. 2-3weeks at 14dpo for example would be on track too. There's a chance given your chemical was last month that it changed your ovulation date this month

Either way, it sounds like your hcg is building nicely. I would say put down the tests, it's so hard with your history I know, but it doesn't serve for anything other than making you feel horribly anxious.

Good luck, it sounds promising x

Ps it won't let you upload photos until registered for 48hrs in case you are trying

Also, like was mentioned, it could also indicate twins! Best of luck x

Hi, thanks both for your responses. Here are the tests as it wouldn't let me upload until now. First one was 6DPO... x

They look great! Is there any chance you ovulated a couple of days earlier than you thought? I think its very unlikely you'd get any kind of positive 6dpo. I honestly don't think you have anything to worry about either way, what matters is that your hcg is clearly rising x

@berriesandcream1 Try not to worry. Looks fantastic to me. x
