I suppose this applies to couples not actively trying to conceive too. my partner (41) and I (35) are trying to conceive our first child. We have already suffered a MC. I have a recent diagnosis of hypothyroidism which may well explain our difficulties and I am trying my best to correct my hormone levels, lose weight and get healthy. I am reading everything I can, consulting (and paying a fortune) for expert advice and really trying to turn things around as quickly as I can/ Every single weekend we are arguing because he just isn't making any changes, which in turn is making things really difficult for me. Temptation is everywhere!!! I struggle with willpower and consistency. He is overweight too and I tell him that it will impact our fertility but it just doesn't seem to get through. My cortisol is through the roof and I just don't know what to do!!! Aside from this he is a wonderful husband. Any advice? X

My advice would be not to have a child with this man. You don't sound compatible. Arguing every weekend? That's terrible. He is already not stepping up in supporting your efforts or making his own. Do you really think this will translate to an equal parenting relationship further down the line? Partners are supposed to double the fun and halve the shit in your life.
