Hi all!

So I've recently started a new cycle and am currently on CD9 - it would be lovely to have a group of people to talk to on here so if anyone would like to join to share your stories and this journey with others, please feel free to join! 🍀❤️ All are welcome, no matter what stage of TTC you're at :)

I'll start with a short introduction - I'm 28, hubby is 35 and we're trying for our first baby :) We've tried for 2 cycles without any tracking and last month I started ovulation tracking, unfortunately was not successful. Hoping I'll get my BFP soon! This month I started tracking my BBT so we'll see if that helps in any way! :)

CD9 here and I feel this month is going to be a drag already 😩🤣
I've also noticed a lot of ewcm just before I left work to head home so an early night will be on the cards tonight 🥳🤣

@Peauela I hope you're ok and get answers as to what your pain is. Keep us posted.

Heyyy mind if I join? I’m 3dpo and have been trying for a couple of years on and off, only recently have we gone back to tracking ovulation and dtd and the right time. I’m 28 and DH is 38 I had bloods which all normal and hubby had sa which started of worse but got better with couple of changes and vitamins and I’ve got a scan in couple of weeks to double check I’m all okay

Hey all, thanks for the welcomes.
I am on cd3 so very much in the throws of af, oh the joys. Am hoping my cycle is a little shorter this month but as I only came of the pill in August I know it may take a bit of time.
I have done a fair bit of reading but I still can't fully work out, if I only dtd on the day of or after ovulation does that lower the odds, my dh (aka lover chops!) Is a paramedic and works shifts, so can't always ensure we get time to dtd in the run up to ovulation.

Would love to here your thoughts and hope you are all well.

@MegAnne83 I'm not sure of the odds but we conceived last time by only DTD on my the peak day which I track using a fertility monitor, the peak day is 8-20 hours before ovulation. Again I'm no expert but I have read that sperm can live up to 5 days inside of you so trying to do it before ovulation as well as on ovulation day might be better than after so there is sperm waiting for the egg when it is released.

Hello all! New here 😊

This is our 3rd cycle TTC. Think I'm about 11DPO, had a negative test Sunday (bought them with the weekly shop and couldn't stop myself 😂)

I've had some v light spotting the last couple of days which is unusual for me (AF due tomorrow). I'm going to see if it turns into full on period today if not will test again in the morning...

It's really nice to find this community as had been starting to get a bit down about it all and feels like there's no one to talk to xx

I'm 2DPO today and I already feel like it's been a week! How does the tww manage to stretch time?

I will be giving him as much notice as possible when I am nearing ovulation window so he can be prepared to be pounced on when he gets home from work!!

Has any one used the conceive + lubricant? Any views on its ability to help the lil egg and sperm do their thing?

@MegAnne83 I bought pre-seed to try this cycle, we've tested it once and it's a nice lube but obviously can't comment on its effectiveness yet 😀 never heard of conceive + one but I guess they're meant to work the same!

How is everyone today? CD14 here so we're ready for action, been following SMEP so far DTD every other day, should be ovu on the weekend 😬 got some lingerie delivered today so gonna spice things up 😂🍀

😂😂😂 Is this your first time trying SMEP? We tried it for the first time this cycle and found it quite hard going on the back to back days! Think I need to get some new lingerie too if we try it again! Hope it goes well for you!

I'm 3 dpo today and already driving myself crazy symptom spotting even though I absolutely know that there are no symptoms this early! The only trouble is that last time I was pregnant I had sore boobs from what I thought was 3 dpo so I'm a bit disappointed I don't have that now. I know every pregnancy can be different but it's hard not to compare and to feel like it's not my month!

Haven't tried SMEP yet I must say, it does look a bit intense 😂

Not sure where I'm at right now. I've got my AF but it weirdly started with very light spotting on Monday which I thought might be implantation. But it slowly got heavier until today with cramps and a BFN. Normally I just have light spotting one day then next day WHAM full flow. So calling today CD1 but might start testing a little earlier than usual in case this has just been an early and light period.

It's funny prior to TTC I wouldn't be so over analysing my body and probs would barely notice something different!!

@MindZGap sorry to hear AF arrived. Definitely sounds like a good idea to test earlier this cycle. I'm the same, I had no real clue before ttc. In a way I wish I'd paid more attention as I find it really difficult to tell what is normal now!

@cocoforbes haha yes it's our first time trying it but without any pressure, if it gets too intense it's fine 😂

The dreaded two week wait! time never dragged more for me 😂 I wouldn't worry about symptoms or their lack, it's definitely too early for them to arrive! I hope this is your month though ❤️

@MindZGap sorry to hear AF arrived :( but hopefully November will be lucky for us all 🍀 I also notified that I'm more in tune with my body since we started trying and I pay attention more, but I also think last cycle I had typical PMS but I wouldn't accept it until AF showed her face 😂 I was looking for symptoms, also had a really good feeling last cycle was the one but well... here we are again 😂

Hey @Peauela sorry for the late reply 🙈

I've enjoyed a few nights out and nights in with friends, family and the other half so my frazzled mind has been occupied other than obsessing over pregnancy tests and symptom spotting.

Now the the cold winter nights are upon us I'll be going into hibernation after work every night so who knows what will happen lol
