Hi, I have just stopped my pill three weeks ago after being on for 11 years (Micogynon then Rigvedon) I had my withdrawal bleed a few days later which lasted 4 days. After this me and DH started TTC. 9 days after the first time we DTD I had extremely light spotting only when wiping, light brown lasted 1 day with mild cramps. I’ve had mild cramps and bloating in the evening every night since then all lower abdomen. I think it was extremely light to be my first period.

I really don’t know when to test? I tested today bfn is it too soon? Only been two weeks since the first time we DTD, I don’t know when my period is due so don’t know when to wait till again? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Hi there! It's hard to say if you don't have a regular cycle and don't know when or if you ovulated. But rule of thumb would be to test 14 days after DTD. Good luck!

Hi OP! I'm in exactly the same boat as you, on mini pill for 12 years, stopped 3 and a half weeks ago and no idea about my cycles or when to test.

I've not even had a withdrawal bleed yet! However as a general rule of thumb until I get an idea of my cycles I am going to test every 2 weeks, just in case!

Thank you Bundaberg84 I think I will just wait till the weekend and that covers two weeks past!

That is so exciting PinkFizz1 that we are on the same boat! Testing every two weeks sounds good until we know our cycles more!
