Worst evap EVER or positive

Not trying to get pregnant on the mini pill. AF was due about 2-3 days ago.
This test was with FMU. BFN on other tests with zero hold today.
Can you see that line? It's pink and it's there! But showed up after
5 mins.

That looks positive to me.

@boomboomshakalakalakaboom strange to get BFN on all other tests. How long after 5 mins did you check. Its fairly clear and visible as far as an evap goes so would probs say its a positive. Did you miss a pill?

I did miss one pill once but took it about 11 hours later. I took the test this AM glanced at it, thought it said negative and got the kids breakfast, looked again and it was there like that! So over 5 mins later but that's one hell of an evap if it is.
I then went out and bought a cheapy freedom test strip and Tesco digital which both were negative this afternoon with no hold.

Are Boots own brand known for false positives?!

@FawnFrenchieMum can you get pink evaporation lines though?

If all other tests show a negative and this line - as strong as it is - only showed up after the time frame, I'd say I wouldn't count it as positive. But you also said you did all other tests after zero hold, so there's that... Can you test again tomorrow morning? Safe some FMU and try two different tests?

That's the new plan! I just took another and it's faulty! The top on is the one I took earlier, bottom one is at exactly 5 minutes. FML

Turns out it was the worst evap or false positive ever! Stark white negative on a FRER this morning!

Phew! Lesson of the story- don't look after the time window!!!
