So I had a mmc in August, successfully passed pregnancy at home on 27th August. Period came 22nd September. Was testing vvvvf positive up to and just after period. Got a negative on digital before I ovulated. Tracked ovulation with OPKs, and am 5dpo now.

pics below are FMU and SMU, and can still see a faint line, especially on the second one. Has this happened to anyone else? I'm thinking it's too early to be a new preg, but I do typically test positive early (7 and 8dpo on other pregnancies).

I think I can see a very faint line. Did it show up within time frame? 5dpo is (almost) impossible to show a positive. You mentioned that you tested negative with a digital before and after period; how sensitive were they compared to the one you took now?

@GenerallyLost Could you have ovulated a little earlier? It is pretty common to become pregnant straight away again as you are incredibly fertile post MC. Hope you get an answer either way. Sadly I think only time will tell and you will have to wait a little bit. x

@Bundaberg84 So I was still vvvvf positive on these test sticks (easy@home) just before and just after my period. I'm CD19 today. I stopped testing, and then did a Clearblue digital on CD12, before I ovulated, and it was negative. I then seem to have ovulated (or at least I had all the signs and got a good peak on OPKs), and am 5dpo today, and am seeing these. I know myself it's ridiculously early for a pos, so just panicking that I'm out altogether

@FlyOnTheWall89 I don't think so, I tracked with OPKs, but didn't do BBT. if I did ovulate early, it would only be a day in the difference (but I suppose given my last positives were so early, it might be slightly plausible that this could be a new pregnancy). I'm just incredibly inpatient and need to prove to myself that my body works post MC, if that makes sense, so will be raging if I'm out this cycle. My GP is useless too unfortunately!

When did you start with opks?

@Bundaberg84 on CD11, it was negative all day. Couldnt test any earlier as they only arrived that day. Did 3 OPKs then on CD12, still negative. Very clear peak on CD13 and CD14, and dropped by evening of CD14 and stayed low/negative since

I just asked because sometimes you get like a second rise in the cycle, but that must have been really early on then. But hey, weirder things have happened right?
Will you test again tomorrow?

@Bundaberg84 it really is weird, the chart I have looks normal! I definitely will test tomorrow, I've a big box of cheapies, and after today's events, won't be able to stop thinking about it. Was hoping to be good and not test at all until the weekend, but for some reason I had the urge to do it today! Just hoping for a good outcome

The line seems much stronger this morning, but my LH has also decided to start rising a bit too. I still have no idea what to think!

Tested positive on a FRER this morning at 7dpo. Still don't quite believe it, so will hold out and see if it gets darker! Have myself convinced this is residual hcg from my mc for some reason, so really hoping it's a bit darker over the next few days
