IVF Advice UK

Hi ladies, I've been trying to get pregnant for almost 2 years. I have PCOS and high levels of prolactin which I am taking meds for both. I fell pregnant in Feb this year which sadly ended in a missed miscarriage. I've been trying again since and have had no luck.
My husband had his sperm tested, all results were normal except for his morphology is reduced at 2%. He is due to have another test next month and then we will be referred to a fertility specialist on the NHS. I saw a gynaecologist privately to see if all is ok with me and she said due to my husbands morphology, we may struggle to get pregnant. I thankfully ovulate each month. She advised IVF if I do not fall naturally pregnant in the next year.

I know on the NHS there is a very long wait and I wanted to know if anyone could give any advice on private iVF clinics in the UK? I live in London and the quotes I have received so far are very expensive! Someone mentioned travelling to Spain or out London, but I have no idea where to start looking.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much in advance. Xx

I went abroad for private treatment. I had ICSI in the Czech Republic and it cost a fraction of being treated in the UK. It also increased my odds of getting pregnant from something like 20% to over 45%.

I don’t know if this is relevant but for NHS referrals treatment usually starts shortly after referral.
