I am on the first cycle of TTC our second. I have been using OPKs for the last few months to try and track when ovulation is as my cycles seemed to change a little bit after having DS1. For the last few months I have ovulated anywhere between day 14 and day 17, and my luteal phase is always 14 days long.
I got my positive OPK on Friday afternoon (day 15), over 3 days ago now. Both the test and control line were the same as each other. I’ve been testing twice a day since then and my tests are still positive. Last night I ended up ordering a different brand of cheapies from Amazon and used them today, they are also positive so it’s not a faulty batch of tests.
This hasn’t happened before - I usually get a positive test then the following day it’s negative again. Why would I be having my surge for over 3 days and has this happened to anyone else?
