I was under then impression that your LP should always be the same amount of days. Is this true?
My LP seems to be longer this cycle as I'm still awaiting AF (still getting BFNs) so wondering if that's normal

It's normally the same lenght, yes. Give or take a day or two. Do you track your ovulation? Did you do something differently this month?

ttcbabya · 11/10/2021 15:40

I track my ovulation using OPKs. I don't think I've done anything differently this cycle.
Really hoping I'll just get a late BFP

How long is your luteal phase normally?

ttcbabya · 11/10/2021 21:07

Usually 12-13. Was 14 this month. Was hoping I'd get a BFN but AF arrived today so I guess it was normal

I've tracked for 5yrs and mine changes within 2/3 days not more

Sorry to hear @ttcbabya. Fingers crossed for next month!🤞

Sorry to hijack - what is considered a normal literally phase? I assume its from the day you ovulate to the day your period starts? So if I ovulated on the 26/09 my luteal phase has already been 16 days. No sign of period just yet and bfn too. X

Mummybearto3bg · 12/10/2021 17:55

I meant luteal not literally Confused

Bundaberg84 · 12/10/2021 20:44

@Mummybearto3bg yes it is exactly that. The day you ovulate is day 0. A normal luteal phase is considered to be between 11 and 17 days. Everything under 10 is ahort and could lead to problems conceiving.

Thank you @Bundaberg84 :)
