Late but negative test - confused!

Trying for baby number two. AF was due Wednesday and I have since done 3 tests all negative. Seem to have some early pregnancy symptoms - metallic taste in mouth, sore boobs and exhausted.
Any one else experienced this and been pregnant? I’ll obviously leave it another couple of days and try another test but I’m very confused!

Sounds like you probably just ovulated later this cycle.

There have been a few threads like this and was late ovulation or stress and af arrived eventually

Hey @wingingitalltheway do you track your ovulation/ periods?
I’m in the same boat as you. AF should be due today but I have no pg symptoms and no AF symptoms but I got a BFN yesterday. I’m going to try and hold off testing until Monday (if I can!).
A few months ago I had a cycle where I was a week late for no apparent reason so don’t want to get my hopes up!

I do track periods - I have a 28 day cycle and I am never late - the only time I have been is when I was pregnant with DD.
I’m now 5 days late and still testing negative so have no idea what’s happening with me really!

🤞🏻 For you that Monday is positive! It’s so hard waiting isn’t it! I’ve spent a fortune on tests this month.

@wingingitalltheway A few cycles back I was 7 days late for no apparent reason. With that being said though, my periods have recently turned irregular! :/
In your case, crossing everything for u so it's just a late bfp! When are you planning on testing again? Or just testing everyday?
If you get to a week with no bfp and no af contact your GP for bloods?

I've honestly spent a fortune on tests! Sometimes wish I could just get that bfp so I can spend it on the baby instead lol.

Wanted to hold out and test tomorrow but I'm officially late now so wanted to test this morning but woke up in the middle of the night around 5 really thirsty and needing a wee so it won't be FMU.
Really don't want to get my hopes up as I have been so late for no reason before :(

@wingingitalltheway when you say you track periods, do you actually track ovulation with opks /bbt or are you just tracking when af comes each month which is different?

Couldn't help it but tested again just now and still BFN. No sign of AF either.
The not knowing and not getting that BFP is becoming so hard :(
