Ttc after chemical

I've just recently had a chemical pregnancy/early miscarriage just prior to 5w. This was the first cycle ttc #2, what are other peoples experiences of this/how long did it take to conceive again?

Feel absolutely ridiculous how upset and worried such an early loss has made me! I'm not usually such an emotional person

I had a chemical a few months ago and it absolutely crushed me. Don't feel ridiculous! It's absolutely terrible and stressful. You're certainly not alone in that feeling.

Hello, I have learned over the past few days that I have had an early chemical. It was our third cycle TTC #1, but we are quite old! I am trying to take comfort in that it means we did at least manage to get the sperm to meet the egg.

My app says I am due to ovulate again a week tomorrow so I have started the OPKs again today. And then I suppose next week is going to be a busy one for DH!

@decaffe I'm sorry to hear that, I have tried to take away the same, atleast we were part way there!

This is true! It hasn’t stopped me having a good old cry this afternoon though. Of course it isn’t an overreaction; it is normal to mourn for the future that we had planned, even if we only had it for a few days or so.
