TTC #2!

Hey!
We are around 10dpo and my cycles have been slightly irregular since having dd 20 months ago (28 days/30 days/33 days…)

I have for the last three days had so much discharge and almost like EWCM again!

Has anyone had this and went onto have BFP? This is our first month and I can’t even remember the symptoms I had last time!

DD will be 2 this month and I am 12dpo today. I have had a lot of discharge recently and I'm generally pretty dry when I am not ovulating so, I did wonder if it meant anything, too!

My cycles tend to be more irregular because, I have PCOS so, I feel your pain. Hoping I have my calculations correct.

Sorry, I haven't got any success stories to share but, hopefully we both have 2 x BFP on their way! When are you going to test?

Hopefully! I haven’t done anything (OPK etc) at all as I felt I became so obsessed with it last time! And I want to try and remain relaxed as possible this time. Who knows what I’ll be saying in a few months though haha!

So I don’t know for certain how many dpo. I think around 11! If AF not here by Monday I am going to test as it will definitely be late by then (if I can hold off haha!) what about you?

I've stopped with OPK this cycle, too as, I was getting overly worked up about it and felt like the stress of it wasn't good for the purpose! That's a good plan though, crossing everything for you!

I've been feeling pretty confident the past few days and was planning to test as soon as but, the fear has well and truly set in so, I'm thinking I should wait until AF is due now. When I start testing early it tends to send me into a bit of a tizz!

When DD was conceived, we had decided to go with the flow for a bit after trying for years so, I keep having to tell myself that it will happen if I stop stressing about it. We tried for almost 5 years with DD but, for some reason I feel so much more pressure now as, I don't want such a big age gap between them.

Let's see if we can hold off testing together!

I hope we both get BFP but I doubt it so much as it’s our first cycle! We were 8 months ttc before we actually did! I would love 2/3 year gap hence why we are trying now!

I don’t have any tests in the house or I would be 100% testing! I have zero willpower! So I’m going to wait off to Monday cause AF should definitely be here by then!

I'm also on cycle 1 of ttc #2.

Wow @Chanel05 it’s so amazing to hear from you! We started ttc #1 at same time and now #2!!

I’m determined not to get myself into such a state this time though haha!

What did you have? My DD is almost 21 months so we thought the time was right to start for #2 and give her a sibling 😊. Hope you’re keeping well!

I fell pregnant after 8 months then had a mmc, then it took another 8 months to fall pregnant with my dd who turned 1 last month! I feel like 8 months is my magic number but I'm hoping it won't take as long this time who am I kidding?

How do you feel knowing you have that experience behind you but also that you have a toddler who's exhausting?!

I think I definitely feel more relaxed this time. Yes DD is very exhausting 😂 definitely keeps me on my toes but wouldn’t have it any other way!

But yeah I feel more relaxed right now. I don’t think we have conceived this month I just have that feeling, but it’s only cycle 1! I won’t be too disheartened. I don’t want to do OPKs etc but i probably will end up it after a few cycles we don’t conceive.

I haven’t went back on birth control at all so I’m hoping that helps as I felt it took me so long last time due to taking the pill for 13 years!

I'm on cycle 2 and just entering my fertile week. I truly don't have the same level of go go go that I did 2/3 years ago 😂. Hoping this works in my favour as less stress!
