Please help me understand ovulation tests!

Hey everyone,

I’m very confused with using ovulation tests & id hope you guys would be able to help me out.

I tested positive (static Smiley) morning of Sunday. Then today the surge has started to go down on a normal ovulation test strip. Is there any point DTD today ? Thank you

I’d say it’s a long shot as the egg was most likely released on Sunday evening/early Monday so it’s life span would be finished by now …
Although it won’t do any harm to DTD today in case you egg was released late and is still viable.
