Period or implantation - I’m worrying

AF due to start Monday but on Sunday started discharging brown stringy this is not unusual for me before period starts. Had very slight blood when i wiped but nothing has happened since and brown discharge seems to have stopped. More worried if it’s not implantation and my period doesn’t start is it anything to worry about?

It it’s not usual and it has stopped then there’s a good chance it could have been an implantation bleed.

Have you taken a pregnancy test OP? If you're two days late tomorrow, it would be a good time to try a test.

I took one yesterday lunch time - is it wise to do another or would yesterday’s been accurate?

It was negative

Leave 48 hours between them and try another.

Did another this morning and negative, not sure what’s happened this period but will see how the month goes and keep our fingers crossed 🤞🏼✨
