CD50 and ovulating?!

I have absolutely no idea what's going on.

I had a private scan and found out I have PCOS, and my periods have been a bit long winded and all over the place but this is ridiculous.

I believe I had my peak 5th September, which was CD23, pretty usual for me to ovulate later.

I'm now CD50 (!!) no signs of AF, and negative pregnancy tests.
I've had some sticky CF which I thought could be something to do with the mucus plug, but the BFN told me otherwise.

I took a ovulation test today just out of interest and look at it!
How can it be as dark as it is on CD50?!

Please help a girl out, has this happened to anyone else? Fed up Sad

That’s not a positive OPK

LH is always present in your body. Sometimes more, sometimes less. You will always have a line of some strength there.

@Suprima I know it's not positive, or peak, but there's a line there. I did say in the post.

It's normally a lot fainter/barely noticeable when I'm not ovulating, and combined with everything else just seems odd!

I don't think it's something to worry about, but why don't you take another test in a couple of days and if not, call your gp or obgyn, maybe they will give you bloods.

VenusStarr · 06/10/2021 09:01

If you have pcos, opks are not accurate as you can get multiple surges when you're body gears up to ovulate but then doesn't.

How long have you been ttc?
