Experiences with ovulation spotting please!

Hello ladies!

Just wanted to hear about people's experiences with ovulation spotting, specifically how long it lasted and (most importantly) did you ovulate before, during, or after the spotting?

The spotting around ovulation? I don't usually spot around then? Only before AF?

Or implantation spotting?

@Hope18 Hello! About 5% of women experience spotting around the time of ovulation and I think it's due to either the egg follicle bursting or the drop in oestrogen! I experience it almost every month but have had a bit of an odd month so was hoping others had had a similar experience to me and would potentially know what's up!

Hello void! Today, CD27, 4 days after the last bought of spotting ended, I have experienced more spotting. It appeared in the last 4 hours or so and pretty much emptied right out into my (bright white😭) underwear, there was very little upon wiping. It's the same colour as the previous spotting and there was one small clot.

I believe this is either implantation bleeding or the beginning of AF (more inclined to believe the latter as the blood doesn't match with what implantation bleeding should be). The last 2 cycles I've began spotting on CD29 which developed into full on AF the day after CD32, so this would be slightly out of the ordinary for me but certainly not weird. I'll update again when I have some answers!
