No temp rise

Hi guys. I use bbt for contraception and as of this month to conceive, randomly this month I've had no temp rise when I was sure I OV, it's been 3-4 days now and still no temp rise, what are the chances the first month I ttc I don't OV, or could it be that I have conceived? I have seen a few things online of people not having a temp rise and getting bfp.
Anyone have any experience with this? TIA!

I am no expert but the rise is due to progesterone so you would have a ride after ovulation and that would be maintained in the case of a BFP. It looks like you haven’t ovulated yet this month if you haven’t had a rise. Have you had a vaccine recently? My ovulation was slightly delayed the month of my first vaccine

I was really big on charting BBT and always could identify ovulation with a clear temp rise but one month it didn't happen and I was so confused, it eventually happened days later so I was really thrown off... and that was the month of my BFP!! I think I probably read the same threads as you 😄 I also went back to update late to say I got my BFP that month!
And FYI I had ovulated exactly when I thought I had (not later as indicated by my temp) as I got a really early positive that wouldn't have been possible with a later ovulation. So my conclusion is that bodies are weird and sometimes it just takes time to show!

We must have read the same @2021babie haha. That's what I thought it's bizarre because I know all the signs when I OV and I've had exactly the same this month bang on when I thought it was. If I get a BFP that would be amazing but I'm not getting excited it's such early days. I'll keep you posted 🤞🏼

@2021babie weirdly temp went up yesterday but it's CD 20 today so it's really late in the cycle to rise! I've had no off days either measuring at a different time or drinking alcohol etc so who knows 🤷🏽‍♀️ I'm itching to test already but way too early! Xx

Goes to show BBT can be a little haywire when it's a positive I guess 🤷🏻‍♀️

It's crazy isn't it @2021babie one minute you're thinking omg I haven't ovulated what's wrong and the next getting a bfp! It's the first time it's ever happened so it's definitely because of the pregnancy! Line progression quite strong as well to say I'm not due in until Wednesday 🎉🤞🏼

@BabyB19 I know this is a really old post and you probably aren’t reading these anymore but I am in the same position. I haven’t had a temp rise this month (on cycle day 19 today) but I was sure I ovulated as usual on cycle day 15/16. Your post is giving me so much hope as we’ve been TTC for 18 months now!! This is the first time this has happened in terms of my temp not rising!! Xxx

Hi @Kfish56 how random I downloaded the app again a couple of weeks ago!
And how exciting for you because i have just put my 8 month old girl down for a nap..because I certainly was pregnant! I don't know why never found out a reason but I never did get a rise and I had OV exactly when I thought and was pregnant!

Weirdly, the same happened to me back when I got a bfp in Oct (later miscarried). My temperature rise was four days later than expected on that cycle and I was really confused because I was sure I'd ovulated when I thought and turns out I had :) Bodies are strange.

Awww that’s amazing!! I really hope the same thing is happening to me. I’ve gotten my hopes up so many times now and it’s never happened. I’m sure I’m just getting my hopes up for no reason but I really hope this is something. I have attached last months temps and this months!!

I am so sorry you had a MC that must have been so hard :(
I don’t know what’s going on this month but my temp has risen at all and I think I ovulated 3 days ago xxx

Hi @Kfish56 ive had exactly the same thing my OPK peaked, got tender nipples and spots on chin everything and yet my bbt seemed to jump the day of ovulation a but now it’s just flat as a pancake I’m 4dpo so thought I’d have seen something by now. Most bizarre x

@BabyB19 my temp ended up going up on cycle day 20 so I just ovulated really late this month I think. I am due AF on Tuesday but I’m pretty sure I’m out this month xx

@Kfish56 sorry to hear that. But at least for future if it doesn't go up you now know that that doesn't count you out as it is definitely true in my case xxx good luck on your journey xxx

Cooeee I’m 7 dpo today temp started to go up a bit yesterday feel absolutely no different yet will probably test 11dpo xxx

@BabyB19 sorry forgot to tag you see another cross your fingers for me but I have no symptoms at all except being starving but that’s normal for me lol xxx

I so badly needed this! I have been taking letrozole and had a trigger shot for IUI on Saturday 25th, my temp isn't rising! my last IUI worked but I miscarried so I am praying so hard this works again and it sticks this time!!!!

Same as happened to me again this month, positive OPK all the signs just no temp rise 😭
