Hello everyone, longtime lurker and first-time poster! After a devastating diagnosis of blocked tubes, my husband and I are exploring the option of IVF abroad. We are based in the UK and don't qualify for IVF through the NHS. IVF in the UK can be very expensive but we've had advice that going abroad is a lot cheaper and the clinics are just as good.
After a bit of research, I've come up with several clinics in GreeceSerum IVF, New Life and EmbryoLabas well as Reprofit in Brno, Czech Republic. There are so many, it's a bit overwhelming!
For anyone with experiences at these clinics, or those of you who've gone elsewhere and had success, would you be willing to share your story and any advice/suggestions you have? It's a daunting task choosing which clinic we want to go with, especially when the outcome is whether or not we have a child. We're trying to stay positive but we were never prepared for this possibility and feel a bit lost. I want to be a mum so badly and am scared it won't happen. Infertility is awful.
