Hello
Can anyone give me some feedback on my test results please? 37yr old female.
Day 21 Progesterone: 46.
Day 1

FSH: 5.2
Estradiol: 338
Prolactin: 351

Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks x

I can never remember what the estradiol is meant to be but your other results are spot on!

Progesterone - confirms ovulation and is a healthy 46 so no worries there about it being high enough to sustain pregnancy

Prolactin needs to be under 500 or else it might interfere with fertility, so yours is a good result

FSH is in line with your age I'd say and is not indicative of premature ovarian failure/early menopause. LH at this stage is only checked against the FSH (as a LH:FSH 3:1 ratio would indicate PCOS) - so it's really good it's the same level as your FSH.

Nothing to worry about with these results. In a way that's annoying I know as it means no quick fix but onwards to the next fertility tests. Has OH had his SA done yet?

Hi there, thanks for this, really helpful to hear. No OH as I'm same sex couple so just about to start IUI. Low success rate so not holding out much hope but also trying to be positive if that makes sense...!

Ah apologies for assuming! Well looks like you're a good candidate for IUI so far so I wish you the best of luck! How many rounds will they be giving you?

They have advised 3 tries then move onto Ivf.
