Am I going mad?!

So, AF was due 3 days ago, but no show yet. I’ve had these weird pulling sensations in my lower abdomen - starting one one side for the first few days, and generalised more to the middle now. It’s a weird sensation, feels heavy too.

I’ve also started drinking gallons of tea (I never drink tea!) and had to walk out of Boots today as the perfume smell was overwhelming! I did manage to pick up a pack of 2 FR ED tests. Both negative…

Given AF was due 3 days ago, surely if I was pregnant, they’d have picked it up (more than a usual test?) Bit puzzled. Has anyone else managed to have negative results on FR around this timeframe and gone on to get a positive?

Just to add - I’m always clockwork regular on a 28 day cycle and have a very overwhelming feeling I am pregnant! But puzzled about the negative results from FR!

I've always thought that if pregnancy hormone levels are high enough to give you symptoms, they'd certainly be high enough to show up on a test.
That being said, it's certainly not unheard of for ladies to be late and not have their bfp show up for a number of days! Good luck 🤞
