TTC - first month tracking ovu

Hi All!

I'm new here and so excited to be joining you! Just wanted to say a quick hello and maybe find a few friends to talk to :)

We got married in late July and we knew we wanted to try as soon as possible after, so much so that we actually "tried" in July before the actual wedding with no tracking but I kind of have an idea of when I ovulate so we were aiming for that. We did the same thing in August and only this month I started testing for ovu! Looks like the peak is coming in a day or two and we're not wasting anytime and already DTD lol.

I still have to get used to the TTC talk ! :D Any help with the slang welcome!

I am not getting my hopes up but fingers crossed we will succeed sooner rather than later! I am so happy I can share my TTC journey with someone here as we are keeping it a secret in real life.

@Peauela Hi! Welcome! We are also TTC. This will be our 6th cycle. I only joined this forum a few days ago because the TTW was killing me and I sadly got AF (aunt flow - period) yesterday evening. We are also keeping it completely secret which makes it so hard when I feel quite emotional that we are yet to conceive. The forum is a great place to ask for advice or just vent :-).

I use natural cycles but don't bother with temp rn. I have regular cycles and can feel and have obvious EWCM when I ovulate. I also use Clear Blue 4 day fertile window tests.

BFP - big fat positive
BFN - big fat negative
TTW - two week wait
EWCM - egg white cervical mucus
DH - darling husband

@FlyOnTheWall89 hey! Thank you and best of luck, hopefully you won’t have to wait long for your BFB! Also thanks for the hints, I only really knew TTC and DTD so it is helpful!

I know, we’re only just starting really but I felt like I needed to be able to share my thoughts with someone! It’s nice to be able to do that now and with people who are going through the same thing!
