Period late, positive ovulation EWCM

Hi guys, wondering if anyone has had this- I’m day 34 of my cycle- is usually expect AF between day 28-30 and still hasn’t arrived. Negative pregnancy tests so far but I’m getting strong positive ovulation tests and EWCM. I felt really “off” in myself, then realised I was late. I came off the implant In Nov 2020 and have been fairly regular since so this is really throwing a curve ball!

Surely I’d have tested positive by now if pregnant? When did you test positive?

@Hopingforfirstbaby hi! There are loads of threads that say some people just don't test positive for a while afterwards. It seems fairly common depending on your cycle and the day of implantation. I have never used ovulation tests for pregnancy and it does advice strongly against doing so to prevent false hopes. Try FRER if you haven't already - apparently much better than CB. Good luck!

Ah thanks! Yeah I know, I only did one because of the EWCM which I only get around ovulation. Was just curious if I’d missed it earlier/late ovulation. I also suspect if there’s enough hormone to cause a positive ovulation then there would be enough to get a positive result. Got a FR will do in the morning :)

I usually get my period on day 29 and didn’t get even a sniff of a positive until 32, that was so faint I could barely see it. Didn’t get a strong line until day 34.

Okay, so, I’m day 34. Still no sign of AF - boobs are ridiculously sensitive/sore (not usual for me) tested this morning- I think it’s getting stronger (top test yesterday, bottom today) it’s clearly different. Did an early response and there’s the smallest skinniest faint line but I can’t be certain it’s not just where it should be (if that makes sense!) let me know your thoughts I’m losing my mind!

I do think there’s a difference and it could be getting a bit stronger. I guess all you can do is keep testing, try to get a few of the same brand and always test with fmu so you can clearly see if it is progressing well. No period yet is obviously great news!

I'm currently on CD50 (!!) and had EWCM, no signs of AF and negative pregnant tests, so took an ovulation test out of interest and it's high, not peak but still!

What is going onnnn!

I know how it feels, so confused! I’m day 37 no period yet, doctors have said unlikely that I’m pregnant but act as if I am, still keep testing for pregnancy every 5 days. Hoping for a positive result for you! How long have you been trying? Xx

@Hopingforfirstbaby it's been over two years now. We're probably going to start clomid around Christmas time if it hasn't happened.
My partner is fine, super sperm, but I've got PCOS and it just hasn't happened for us. I'm 34 in a few months, don't want to keep wasting time!
