Morning!

So I caved today at 10dpo and tested, BFN which I suspected.

How's everyone else? How many dpo are you? Have you tested yet?

Morning! I tested yesterday and got a BFN. Not sure or many DPO I am as I quit tracking O this cycle! AF due on Sunday though so I'm guessing I'm out!
Will you be testing again? I'll wait to see if anything happens on Sunday before testing again! Can't cope with another white window just yet!

beanchopper17 · 24/09/2021 09:46

Hello!

I used my last test today, I do have some on order so see which turns up first, period or tests 🤣 I honestly felt we did everything we could this month and I have been having some dull cramps in my lower abdomen area but that could be early af symptoms.

How long have you need ttcing?

It can be so deflating seeing that stark white, but the addiction to testing is real.

@beanchopper17 sorry to hear you had a BFN, maybe you are too early.

Honestly I am terrible at caving in. I've tested 3 times and I think I'm only 5DPO!!

My confusion is I came off the bill early September so it's our first month trying- no idea when I ovulated (had some CM so guessed it was then) so this month is a bit of a guessing game. Waiting for AF early October so if that's late I am going to wait to test otherwise I'll drive myself mad.

Good luck!!

naevo · 24/09/2021 10:32

Haha, it's the little things that keep us going isn't it! Fingers crossed AF doesn't show though and you can use them tests and get some positives!
I'm feeling those cramps too but it's a bit unusual for me as usually I don't get any! We've been trying 10 months so massively bored with it all now. Booked in for a HyCoSy next month so feels like we're moving forward 😊

How long have you been ttc?

beanchopper17 · 24/09/2021 16:17

@Pugmumm oh I completely understand, I used to be terrible (even multiple times a day) but my self control must be improving to get to 10dpo 😂 I know the pill can really mess with ladies cycles for a couple of months after stopping, hopefully this settles down for you and you get some good news soon 🤞🏻

@naevo sadly I have been at this a very long time, going on 10years (had one pregnancy 2019 that I lost at 7weeks), I have high bmi so not entitled to investigation/fertility treatment).
Hopefully these cramps are a good sign for you 🤞🏻

I'm so sorry, I feel like Ive really struggled with 10 months, I can't even imagine how hard 10 years have been. Sorry to hear about your mc too Thanks. Have you been able to get bloods and SA?
We won't be able to have NHS treatment either so just really keeping our fingers crossed this just happens for us!
Also thinking these cramps are to do with the covid vaccine, I've heard they mess up your cycles so I'm planning on this one causing a bit of confusion!

beanchopper17 · 25/09/2021 09:17

@naevo it's had some serious ups and downs, I take each cycle as they come (which is highly irregular), and celebrate the small victories! Currently I am celebrating that I have had 2 cycles in a row that are reasonable lengths, if af comes I will be really interested to see how long the next one will be 🤞🏻

Oh I have I had so many blood tests over the years I feel like dart board 😂 I know I currently have insulin resistance PCOS and under active thyroid. I am on a few prescribed meds and I take ALOT of supplements (which is why I see the improvement in my cycle).

How old are you if you don't mind me asking? Because if your under 30, then medically they do like you to of been trying for over a year. Are you tracking ovulation etc?

Tiredmama21 · 25/09/2021 10:19

CD38, bfn but no signs of af arriving. Is anyone else in the same boat that wants to join me?

beanchopper17 · 25/09/2021 14:46

@Tiredmama21 hello! Do you know when you ovulated?

OP posts:
mummyjojo19 · 25/09/2021 15:10

@beanchopper17 findees crossed you get your positive soon can I ask what no prescribed stuff you take as I am looking for something to regulate my cycles a little more so would welcome any advice you can give xx

Tiredmama21 · 25/09/2021 15:44

@beanchopper17 I'm 19 dpo, 2 very faint positive tests followed by a negative. My cycles have been all over the place but being using ovulation tests so who knows what's going on this month. Have you been given much information on ttc with pcos?

beanchopper17 · 26/09/2021 19:00

@mummyjojo19 prescribed I take the following -

1500mg metaformin (for PCOS)
125mg letherthyoxine (for under active thyroid)
And folic acid

I take many more supplements which I think contributes to, there's a private group on Facebook that I got most of my advice from call them heathy PCOS (I can list these but I highly recommend you research what's best for your type of PCOS)

Well my tests turned up (got to love Amazon Sunday deliveries). Caved and tested straight away and still BFN!

Has anyone else tested? Or are you being patient and waiting for af?

OP posts:
Pugmumm · 26/09/2021 20:50

@beanchopper17 waiting for AF!! 😊🤞🏻

beanchopper17 · 26/09/2021 21:24

@Pugmumm when are you due?

I am due Tuesday/Wednesday so I am hoping I can hold off, but now I have tests in the house I no my self control will go out the window!

OP posts:
Pugmumm · 26/09/2021 21:53

I am due 3rd October. My self control went out the window 5 DPO 😂😂 the two week wait is the worst, it's really difficult.

Good luck!! 🤞🏻💕

JonSnowsCloak · 26/09/2021 22:40

Also due Tuesday according to me always being on time... but I used ovulation tests for the first time which showed me ovulating later than I thought...tested today but nothing :( want to try and hold out now!

beanchopper17 · 27/09/2021 16:23

@Pugmumm still plenty of time for your hunny 🤞🏻

@JonSnowsCloak hope you get some good news soon! It's worth tracking ovulation with testing, cause cycles can change (even the most regular of cycles)

OP posts:
beanchopper17 · 29/09/2021 07:23

Well 14dpo, BFN, and no sign of af 🤦🏼‍♀️

Feeling very deflated I thought we had done everything we could this cycle! Even after all this time, it still sucks to get to this point 😕
