Hi just joined. I have been feeling a bit run down and full of cold the last few days, RHR is also much higher than usual. I took a test this morning a day before my period, and to my surprise it came up positive immediately and is a strong line, did a digital clearblue and says 2-3 weeks Smile

Really happy, I'm just so nervous as I had a miscarriage in June at 6.5 weeks and it was my first pregnancy...I'm hoping this will go okay... I was so devastated about the miscarriage. I'm shocked I got pregnant this quick after.

Any tips on how to remain calm and not terrified things will go wrong again?

Hi @Lilybow congrats!!
Amazing news..

So, similar to us.. Rewind 3 years ago.. we had a MC with our first pregnancy and fell pretty quickly and very luckily into our second.. DD is 3 now Smile

Theres nothing in my opinion to take those fears away other than hearing positive stories.. Everyday with no concerning symptoms is another day closer to a scan. We booked a early 6 week scan for reassurance that egg had implanted correctly etc which definitely helped mentally..
I wish you all the best on your journey xx

Congrats!

I think the main thing to remember is that vast majority of miscarriages are just horribly bad luck - rather than anything being wrong with you. So most people who miscarry can go on to have a successful pregnancy with no issues whatsoever :).
