Okay, I've done my third and final opk of the day (I'm obsessed I know) and after 2.5 days of peak results, the line is now fainter and only 24% compared to 185% at its highest. So, question is, should I DTD tonight and tomorrow or just one or the other? 😂

Great run of BFPs on this thread! Early October is having a grand time...

Just managed a final try tonight and 99% sure that's us done - I can feel ovulation looming tomorrow or Weds and DH is working 18 hour days for the next few.

@Cruz86, if I were you I'd be exhausted! Sounds like you've thrown the kitchen sink at this cycle - do whatever you and your partner have the energy for! 🤣

I’m 14 dpo today and I feel SHIT. Sorry language but no other word for it. I feel sick, my mouth tastes like crap (will be brushing teeth in a mo) I feel ill like cough, throaty, headache…I’m actually gonna take a covid test as I am a bit worried. Got tiny ache down abdominal region as well…I feel rubbish 😞😞 and I’m supposed to go to work today and I really don’t feel like it!
Happy Tuesday! 😂

Oh, and I was so tired last night I went to bed at 8.30 and slept until 6 this morning 😂

@SammiStap, that all sounds potentially exciting... not to get your hopes up but unbelievable fatigue was my first sign both times. When are you planning to test?

I understand cold/flu type symptoms also happen, I had nothing when I was pregnant back in may though but I know each pregnancy is different. Can’t believe how gross my mouth tastes though 🤮

I'm on ovulation week next week and I'm feeling a bit paranoid. Birthday on Sunday and have planned to go out for drinks but I don't want to mess up the opportunity because this is our first week during TTC where we're today all week!!

5DPO, my temp is higher than yesterday and I got muscle ache in my legs, no idea where it’s come from… Other than that everything is pretty normal 👌

@apwilso I think going out BEFORE your ovulation week and have a couple of drinks should be ok? Unless you’re planning on getting absolutely hammered 😜 (as in sever dehydration/being sick could potentially have some impact on your cycle, but not sure how much?)

I’ve got a hen do on Saturday (Im going to be 9DPO at that point) , so I’m planning on testing with FRER in the morning, if there’s absolutely nothing I’ll go out but try to drink as much nonalcoholic drinks as I can and hoping no one realises 👀Even if I’m pregnant no blood vessels should exists yet between me & the baby, so it should be fine I suppose? But then if there’s even a hint of a line I’d have to say I’m on antibiotics and can’t drink😷

@apwilso that's how our ovulation fell, I think it was my birthday or the day after and I drank a glass of Prosecco here and there 🙂

So I was petrified to test this morning, 12dpo and a very faint BFP. Came up straight away and photo taken after 2 mins.
Praying this sticks 🙏

@beckybabyx yeah that's the best way to be if you can. Not long to wait until you'll know! Fingers crossed. I'm okay thanks, apps say I should be ovulating today but I had period pains yesterday and had to have a hot water bottle so I think it might have released yesterday instead!

@apwilso and @Mummytobe93 I think you are totally fine to enjoy a few drinks during the TWW. Medically speaking, you don’t share any blood vessels with bébé until like 5 weeks or so, so it’s absolutely fine. As you said, unless you’re planning on getting absolutely slippered, a couple of glasses of wine or cocktails are absolutely fine. :)

Ahh we literally have BFPs daily! It puts me in such a good mood! Fantastic news!

Can I actually ask all y’all lucky ladies who got your BFPs already, to share like a little summary for us:

• how many DPO when you got your BFP?
• how long were you trying / cycles?
• did you do anything different?
• (sorry if TMI) how much / when you DTD?

I’ll be taking notes over here 🤓🤓🤓

Bit late to the party, but can I join too? @Danani I think we’re pretty much in sync - my cd1 was 24/9 too.

This is cycle 1 for us, and I had no idea so much thought and effort goes into it!! I tend to obsess about things so am trying to avoid opks etc and just see what happens these first few months, but the temptation to monitor everything is real!!

I don’t imagine it’s going to happen right away - I had my vaccine in august (which made my sept AF 2 weeks late!) and came off the implant after 6 years last month, so I expect it will take some time for cycles to get into a rhythm again. Apps say ovulation was cd15 but who knows 🤷‍♀️
