It seems AF is coming to get me end of this week (Fri), so instead of feeling sorry for myself I’m trying to look forward to October and getting to try again! 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

I’m sorry about your DH’s back problems @Danani 😪 If it makes it any better, we are yet to DTD in my fertile window which is definitely now as I feel all the signs of ovulation coming. OPKs still negative but definitely getting darker, probably will get the surge later today or tomorrow. I’m hoping we can do it tonight and MAYBE tomorrow but it’s was a rather pathetic attempt to follow SMEP 😬😂

We’ve got other months ladies, I’m know it’s going to happen for us 🍀xx

Ahhh @Mummytobe93 thank you, huni! It does make me feel better, you know! 😂 Obviously, I hope you DTD and get your BFP this month, but it does feel nice knowing that I’m not the only one who completely failed to follow SMEP or any other TTC plan for that matter this cycle. 😬
Sometimes when I come on here I feel like everyone else is DTD’ing all the time, at all the right days and here I am…tumbleweeds 👀🙈

Don't worry @Danani we've been the same, it's hard if one of you isn't in the mood isn't it! Life can very easily get in the way.

I am CD10 today and got my first smiley on clearblue today so going to BD tonight and Friday and then everyday once flashing smiley comes. Still saying low on the easy@home tests though?

@Cruz86 we’re attempting SMEP (Sperm Meets Egg Plan) and we’re already exhausted. It seems quite hard going!

The basics is that you DTD every other day from CD8 to a positive OPK, then you DTD for three days straight, skip a day, then DTD again!

We got excited as this is our first cycle TTC and started a little too early (CD5 😬, I blame DH!!).

We’re now on CD9 and going to take a little break until CD11. Hopefully it doesn’t mess things up but we will see.

@Danani I will wait until I get af or I’m late lol! I hate seeing negative tests.
I’m not feeling anything this afternoon though I feel fine.
I also on an October thread somewhere else and that one has several BFPs on it!

Regarding your situation I am sorry to dear your DH isn’t well and I understand it’s frustrating. 😞

Ladies - do you ever have months where you're just not feeling like DTD?
My mental health has taken a total dive this month, I've had a lot going on this week & I'm just so exhausted physically & mentally from it all but I'm about to go into my fertile window (I think)
Anyone got suggestions/ideas on things that have worked for you?

@FlyOnTheWall89 static smiley today, was planning to do SMEP from day 8 but it never happened so starting it today instead xx

@Lianna93 I sympathise with you but haven't felt the need to not want to DTD just yet as I am so desperate (I am only on month 2 though)

I would suggest trying to have some time to yourself with DP and a nice meal and movie if you can and just see where the night takes you (excuse the embarrassment there).

You may feel different in a couple of weeks then you won't be in your fertile window and you may of wished you had taken the opportunity xx

Wow, that sounds like real hard work @Firsttimetrier 😂 Are they optimal times to be DTD then?! I'm trying for my second and have never heard of this!! I don't think I've got the energy...🥱

@FlyOnTheWall89 I’ve had a total mind block and only just realised static means peak fertility!!! I was thinking ooh yeah O is coming soon now I’ve got a smiley, I never even had flashing smileys! Best get to it tonight haha xx

@beckybabyx 😂 I thought that may have been the case. They say you’ll ovulate in around 12-36 hours - so defo BD tonight x

@Pugmumm honestly feel so burnt out but you're right, I know I'll definitely regret it, I'm hoping the weekend will be different for me.
Might treat myself to a complete pamper day on Saturday to see if that helps any 🤞🏻

I was feeling some ovulation cramping earlier today so decided to test every 6-7 hrs and went from low this morning to high in the evening. I’m on CD12, thought I’d ovulation at day 15 but it’s couple of days earlier this cycle.. I wouldn’t be surprised if the surge happens overnight…
We deffo DTD tonight, I dont take no for an answer😂

Mines saying how tired he is 🙄 I said well tough the tests say it must be tonight 🤣🤣

@effram thank you! How is your OPKs doing? Are you getting stronger lines? Do you usually have rapid or gradual lh surge?

@Peauela don't feel bad, honestly. I know our time comes when it needs to come. During this period learnt a lot about myself and started to trust and love my body, and it made our relationship stronger then before. Its hard for us women, but it is hard for them too, even when they put the brave face on it, because we can, we allow to show our emotional but it is not accepted by the modern society for them.
Probably without this waiting time I could never appreciate the miracle that much as I would appreciate now.

But tomorrow is a new day and honestly I know that my little eggs are developing..I was talking to them 🙈 and continuously cheering them to grow, and I feel it. I usually have the pain before ovulation and on the ovulation day and I can tell which side is the active in certain months, but this month is a tiny little bit of different as they have to be ready by tomorrow morning, so its a little bit more sore then usually.

Lovely to see all the BFPs already this month and I know there are more to come ❤️

@Peauela @Danani @Dobcaty Thankyou, I'm still going strong and not tested although I find it harder at the weekends not to test so hoping I get through it 😅

No BD’ing over here. OH fell asleep ALL evening. I’m really upset/angry about it. I’ve just cried on the way to work I just don’t think he sees that he could have just ruined our chances for another month!
