It seems AF is coming to get me end of this week (Fri), so instead of feeling sorry for myself I’m trying to look forward to October and getting to try again! 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

I’m still taking BBT, slightly different times but following the rule to do it after a big chunk of sleep first thing, so we’ll see if the BBT matches with the rest of the app predictions! It’s my first month taking it so I don’t know what’s normal and where I’ve had a rubbish night’s sleep. 😬 it’s one raggedy-ass line I’ll tell you that LOL 😂

@Peauela I got a cheapie off Amazon too, called Femometer. And yes, we’re both taking supplements- both of us have been taking Proceive for a couple of months now. I don’t think they’re doing or speeding up anything but I liked the whole “prepare your body for conception” bit. Clever marketing if you ask me!!

@Mummytobe93 no I don't feel we need to do SMEP at this point. We DTD regularly anyway so I can't see us not having sex at the right time. I have bought pre-seed though so I will be trying that for the first time.

I got a flashing smiley today CD12. I think I am pretty much always bang on CD17 ovulation so will test every day now until I get the static smiley and EWCM.

@Peauela I have used the Natural Cycles app with thermometer. But I personally found the BBT didn't work for me and so many become invalid for various reasons and I found it quite stressful and irritating. If you have super regular sleep cycles it may work for you!

@Danani CD 11 - You have got time :-). Be positive.

Well that’s me out for this month! AF was due 1st or 2nd but only arrived today. A few months ago I had a 27 day cycle and now I’ve had a 30 so goodness knows if I even have a consistent cycle. I’ve told my OH to get ready for a very sexy week/month 🤣🤣

Hi Everyone! Had a busy weekend so have just been catching up with you all. HUGE CONGRATULATIONS @Bridgey8 !! so exciting.

@Peauela I have natural cycles so the thermometer that came with that. I quite like it for the plotting - we used it to prevent between our first 2 then got pregnant first month using it with no 2 so let's see if it works this time...! I've only had 1 cycle since having my last baby and I'm still breastfeeding though, and often up in the night so I try and take my temp the first time I wake after 3 hours (if that happens at all) and I';m unsure how accurate it will be this time.

@Mummytobe93 oh the waiting rooms... just been on hold to docs for my littlest who is wheezing like anything :'( so another day off work for me while I take him to get checked.

@Firsttimetrier my husband was also excited yesterday to find out it was 'sexy week' as he calls it ah ha!

@Danani hope you're feeling ok and your partner's back is better... SMEP obv is good but it still only takes once so even if not on full measures it could be the golden time !

Bfn for me this morning. I'm 11dpo (predicted by app) but period not due til Monday 11th so I'm not totally out but not sure it'll make any difference! X

@Mummybearto3bg you’re definitely not out yet! Implantation can happen as late as 12 DPO, and then you still need 2-4 days for sufficient levels of the pregnancy hormone to build up and be detected by a test! Don’t count yourself out! 🤞🏻

AF due today or tomorrow and got a BFN today so I think I'm out! We weren't properly trying last cycle but will be from now on. My DD was a surprise so this TTC is all new to me, me and my partner were thinking of trying SMEP. Has anyone tried this?
Also going to try OPKs, which ones do I go for? I searched Amazon and there are so many it is confusing!

Nothing exciting though! 😂 think I’m 5dpo, or 6 🤔 I dont know lol but I haven’t felt much as yet. Maybe a tiny bit of tightness/cramp but nothing that’s set off alarm bells. I am busy with work and my horse so far so good xx

@Maddie2802 I’m not an expert on OPKs but the only time I used one it was one step off of Amazon…but I’m aware there are others like clear blue and the like. I don’t know what is best or anything but the one step worked for me.

I'm on a very tentative 3 days past period due date... I've had cramps since Thursday and have been convinced it was coming, but no show! Some other symptoms but I've learnt not to bother with the reliability of those.

Going to test in a few days if it still doesn't arrive 🤞🤞 (Have been there so many times where I've bought tests and then AF annoyingly arrives the next day.. Or even a bloody hour after taking the test 😂)

I'm out!!! Only bonus is is that I'm ovulating when I'm off work for a week with the boyfriend. We both work with each other but he works away 4 days and it's hard to get the timing right! So hoping it's this cycle!

Hey @Maddie2802 we’re about to embark the SMEP train. I’ve heard so many successful stories so we thought why the hell not. I’m not tracking my ovulation using OPKs though this month as it’s only our first time TTC. I have used the Flo app for a couple of years, so we’re just going to try and guesstimate using their predictions.

If it’s not successful, we’ll use OPKs next month!

I can't believe it but I think AF, the b**ch is coming... I've been cramping a bit more throughout the day and when I came back home and released the boobies I thought they would hit the ground and the pain is real 😂 looks like my usual pms but I've never had it a week before my expected period.. and i can't remember the last time it came early, not to mention a week earlier! I felt so positive about this month! Guess we shall see soon.

So I posted about spotting yesterday thinking my AF was on the way a week early again. I had some spotting first thing this morning but absolutely nothing since. So maybe not all hope lost yet! Will try to hold off tent until Thursday when I'll be 12 DPO

Re vitamins, I think the standard Vit D and Folic Acid really is all you/we need, but if you feel so inclined to spend your hard-earned 💰- we’re using Proceive. It has done nothing for us so far (currently month 3 of taking them) but supposedly “prepares your body”, whatever that means 😁
