Positive then negative test

Hi all, so I recently had a positive pregnancy test and was over the moon
This morning I had a negative test, my period was due today. I called the doctors who said that positive tests are usually correct and to wait and retest in a week if I don't get my period. Anyone had this before where they were pregnant? I still feel nauseous and bloated.

I would wait for a bit like your Doctors have said and then test again maybe even twice. That sounds the best thing to do.
