How many weeks am I?

Hi guys,

Recently found out that I'm pregnant! My last period began 19th august, but my cycles are never regular sometimes they are 34 days and sometimes they are 52!! This cycle I ovulated on day 20.
Some apps are saying I'm 3 weeks, some 4 and others nearly 5!
Any case I know I'm 14 dpo, I got a positive at 7dpo. Line progression shown below. But any idea how I'd know how many weeks I am??

Have you taken a clear blue 'how many weeks test' might give you some idea?

Congratulations! Your midwife will count from the first day of your last period which would put you at nearly five weeks. They will then adjust your due date at your dating scan if needs be

You are 4+5 weeks pregnant. At this stage the only way to date is from the date of your LMP.

As your cycles are irregular a more accurate dating may be given at your 12 week scan should the measurements not be in keeping with your gestation by greater than 1 week.

How do you know when you ovulated? If temping and you are certain you have the right date (clear and significant jump in temp, no ambiguity) then I would tell your midwife that the first day of your LMP was fourteen days before your ovulation date. This will then date your pregnancy 'correctly'.
If you're not absolutely positive of your ovulation date though I wouldn't do this.

I did it - if I hadn't then my dating scan wouldnt have been in the right time frame. In the end the dating scan agreed with my fake LMP so am satisfied! But my ovulation date was very obvious.

Thanks so much guys this is really helpful. Definitely certain on the ovulation date.. monitored LH, temperature and had EW mucus, sore nipples so I knew for sure I was. I guess I'll assume I'm 4 and a bit weeks and hope the midwife can confirm:) thank you
