Hi All,
Have been having irregular periods the past 2 month after copper cool removal.
Did a test today, frer, thought I could see a faint line so broke open the test.
Is this line too far away from the test region?
Any advice would be great, Thank You

You really shouldn’t break open the tests because it affects the drying time and can result in evaporation lines.

Test again in a couple of days without opening the test. Good luck

Yeah I know that's a definite no-no!
Tested alot lately and never even had a squinter! This was the first I seen a line so ripped it open like a mad woman

Have you been tracking ovulation at all? If so do you know how many dpo you are? The line is clear but almost looks in the wrong place so I don’t think you can rely on that. I know people say don’t take tests apart but we all know that really…! Do you have another test?

It’s not a line, it’s where the dye bleeds from the initial strip into the test strip. That bit would be hidden by the plastic shell normally.

No, haven't been tracking at all, had hormone levels checked a few weeks ago due to only 2 days of spotting in 8 weeks so thought no point as won't be regular.

I have one more test left, would you recommend waiting until tomorrow? Fmu?
I've taken tests before but never ever seen one there that dark! I thought Evans were colourless?

OP saw a faint line and that’s why she opened the test. So the line can’t really be void if she saw it on the intact stick, can she?

It is further away from where the original line should be definitely, but it's there
I will test again tomorrow. Never seen a line so dark pink and have it be an evap? Strange indeed.
This ttc malarkey isn't easy is it haha
