Could I be pregnant?

Hi all,

Me and my husband have been ttc for about 3 weeks (I know it's not very long but if feels like a lifetime)!

Today I've felt sick on and off. Could this be an early sign of pregnancy or am I letting myself get carried away? Can you even get ms so early on?

I haven't taken a test - I feel nervous and don't want to disappoint myself.

You need to take a test. If you’re TTC then yes of course you could be pregnant. It’s unusual to get morning sickness before your missed period. If you haven’t had your period when expected then it’s more likely. The more you wait the more you’ll get worked up about it and the more disappointed you’ll be if it’s negative. Good luck though!

It’s unlikely you’d have real symptoms yet. More likely the dreaded symptom spotting - I thought I had all sorts of symptoms the first few months. Do you know when you ovulated and when AF is due?

I felt quite nauseous when I found out I was pregnant! We wasn't trying at the time...

I only knew something was off as my colleague was cooking chicken nuggets and the smell made me want to throw up (very unusual for me) turns out I was pregnant! That was 4 days before my period was due!
