First time TTC with PCOS

Hi everyone,

Going to start TTC next month. I’ve been diagnosed with pcos and slightly enlarged ovaries after an ultrasound 2 years ago.

I do get regular periods (between 30-34 days) and I’m sure I ovulate every month because I’ve been tracking for a while with an app and get all the usual ovulation symptoms and a pain for a few days too.

For context, I’m a healthy weight, eat well and exercise daily

Reading about PCOS and infertility is scary and I’m extremely nervous that it won’t happen for me. Does anyone have any advice? Has anything in particular helped you to conceive with pcos? Or similar stories? Thank you!!

If you ovulate frequently then that's great. The main issue with PCOS and TTC is not ovulating (like me, yay), so you're already onto a winner!

Statistically, pcos slightly increases the chance of miscarriage but that chance is quite high anyways. Abou 1 in 4 pregnancies will end in miscarriage.

Stay at a reasonable weight, eat healthy and see what happens. Wishing you luck!
