Faint line or evap line?

Hi!

Just as the title suggests, I'm unsure whether the attached is an evap line or a very false positive. This was taken around 5-6 minutes after poas.

I'm thinking it's an evap line as it's a frer early and I'm 11 dpo so I would've expected a clear positive. It was taking with FMU.

Any advice/comments would be appreciated.

Definitely looks a promising BFP doesn’t it. Did you take the picture in the time frame suggested to read the test ? I do know these FRER can start drying with terrible evaps but that looks the start of something to me. Congratulations

Hi, don’t count yourself out yet. I didn’t get my very Faint line until 12dpo on frer and it progressed into a dark line so maybe test in another couple of days. Good luck xx

Hello! Thank you for your response. It says on instructions ready to read at 3 minutes and that a negative should not be read after 10 minutes. The first photo I read around 5-6 minutes as was sorting breakfast and the last photo was about 20 minutes after. I've heard FRER are bad for evap lines which is why I'm thinking evap because surely at 11DPO I should have a clear line? It does have a pink tinge to it but it's hard to see in photos. Probably best to wait for a couple of days and take the other - though part of me wants to do it ASAP Grin

@Eff98 it looks very similar but mine was maybe slightly more prominent but it was v faint. I did another frer 2 days later and it was an obvious line and continued to get darker. I did cheapies before that but they were extremely faint. I have my fingers crossed for you!!

Thank you, unfortunately I started bleeding shortly after my bfp and still am although test have been getting darker and still positive today a week after it started so I don’t know what’s going on but I’m not hopeful.

Looks very similar to mine when I was 12/13DPO. I think that's a pretty good early positive!

Well I've just done another, albeit not with FMU and it's negative so I'm assuming it was an evap... I'll get another to be sure though.

@LIB2020 how worrying for you, I hope all is ok, I truly do! FX! Xx

@Eff98 thank you, I’ve finally got an appointment for my bloods doing and hopefully I’ll get a scan next week.

Try to leave it a couple of days to retest with frer using fmu - I know it’s hard I was so impatient but because your levels are prob very low atm your best using fmu for it to be able to detect levels. Keep us updated! 🤞

Thank you @BillyBradshawsZedgie / @lionsmum though I do believe it's probably an evap line/indent the more I've read about it. I took the test apart and it doesn't appear as pink as it did when in the test. Done another 2 and both negative so all I can do now is wait a few days. I'll do another tomorrow morning and then wait a couple of days - luckily the tests are on offer lol!

@LIB2020 well hopefully it will ease your mind, it's so hard to not overthink isn't it. I will give it ago tomorrow and then if negative, try a few days after but I am fairly confident it was an evap/indent. Seems that these tests give these a lot!

Just an update - must've been an indent/evap line as I have done 3 other FRER and all negative x

@Eff98 ahh OP I'm so sorry, that is such a horrible indent to get! FRER's can be so hit or miss. Hope you are doing ok💞
